A flurry of gun rights cases will soon flood the courts. This will be one of many.

Obviously, GUNS are the solution to all of society's problems. They must be. It is the only portion of the "Bill of Rights" that has been expanded in scope. Everything else has been rolled back. People keep pointing out that guns will reduce crime and violent acts (like Virginia Tech) yet there are never any examples of proof. It is just another myth. The idiot in Texas does not count, he shot them in the back, without warning as they were fleeing empty handed.

Pretty simple, take away the law abiding citizen to own a gun (lets say that’s you), while the criminal (like the Virginia Tech shooter) buys his off the street illegally and uses it against you. What are you going to do?... You're going to stand there like a deer in the headlights, no way to counter the threat. Do you think you'll negotiate your way out of this situation, with someone who is not in the right frame of mind? Very doubtful. Those are logical facts... but of course look whom I am posting logic to. I have the Constitutional right, and won't give it up. You want to, thats your business.

Yes but it has never happened. There are no examples of gun-toting law abiding citizens stopping a massacre or a crime in progress. It is just hype and exageration. Once again when you cannot answer the main point of the post you resort to insults. But apparently you will give up all your other Constitutional rights without even a peep. CUZ GEORGEY SAID IT WOULD KEEP US SAFE!

NEVER? Please. Those stats are seldom part of crime stats, but stories do exist. Case in point. http://www.ocregister.com/articles/gun-homeowne... UMMM you say I will give up all my other Constitutional rights? That’s pretty narrow-minded of you. I never have, and never will.

Now I don't like guns. But it think its anyones right to own a gun unless you are a nut job. There should be a background check on anyone wanting a hand gun and I think that is the only compromise that is fair to all.

YES !!!!!!!
C'mon Little NRA Boys!
Fight for your rights to take your guns to church, to school, on airplanes and, especially, in the Supreme Court building and the White House.
It's your constitutional right! Don't let them take it away!

It would be a great moment to an oral argument before the Supremes where someone representing the airporet points out to Scalia that guns are not allowed into their courttoom.

When the Virginia Tech thing happened and all the Conservatives were saying "This wouldn't have happened if the school didn't have a rule against students having guns," I looked up gun policy at Regent University, Liberty University and (I think) Bob Jones University.
Wouldn't you know it? They all had no-firearms policies.
As many of the folks have guns as substitutes for erections, there must be lots more of them out there than you know. Getting them past airport security will be an admission most of them don't want to make.

Drop them peanuts on the tray table, keep your hands where I can see them, and slowly back away....damn, I crack myself up.

It's all BS! In today's world, these idiots are allowing guns in the nation's busiest airport. Just imagine it! Some biker babe sitting across the isle and she's packin' a magnum.

Thugs. Gun nuts are a bunch of thugs like the Nazis, but with bad teeth, ugly clothes and no sense of style or music.

I'm tired of security grabbing my 3 piece set while they let Charlton Hestontards bring guns to the airport
Busboy

You people are missing the point. They can charge an extra $25 for every gun brought on board. And, how about the ammunition? Did the Supremes say anything about the right to keep and bare ammo?

That would be "bear" of course.

I support this measure. I think it would be a great way into scaring the airlines into never losing my luggage ever again.

55% of gun deaths are suicides.
