OT, but here's a good article from Jonathan Alter.

    Obama's resilience.

Honesty time. I can't support Hillary any longer. I quit. I'm from Michigan and I sure would like my vote counted, but NOT at the risk of dividing the party and losing the general election. Plus, fair is fair. He is ahead and she can no longer win. Her insistence to pursue this path is becoming tedious, laughable and embarassing.

A feeble attempt to engage is still an attempt, I guess.
    Boring.

About time the GLBT community came to their senses and get over the supposed slight from the McClurkin flap. Notice it is Obama who in his stump speech is the one who always mentions gays? It's easy for Hillary to pander to the choir but with the Clintons everyone is expendable once they got your vote.

While there is some sting to giving up on a candidate, I look forward to giving my energy, dollars and time to Obama. It is time to move on, up and forward.

What is worse than giving up on my candidate is having Rush Limbaugh saying HE affected the outcome in Indiana!

    Now that is laughable!

Why did they endorse Clinton in the first place? Lack of vision?

Older and Wider - And the wisdom of dredging up the "whys" one did what one did benefit whom and what? Isn't is time to move on and not look back at the "whys"? I don't think you'll bring a lot of people along with you if you belittle them for their past choices.

    devisadvocate,

You appear to have re-evaluated your choice of candidate and in doing that you reached a new conclusion. Further, if no alternative becomes possible you are willing to sacrifice your personal benefits - your MI vote - for the greater good of the Dem Party and for the country.
    Bravo!
The Dem party needs more people like you; the country needs more people like you.
I hope you'll be a frequent commenter on these threads.

This is precisely the type of party action which should be forthcoming from the Superdelegates NOW. They need to put the welfare of the party above any personal/political considerations. That is, after all, why they are superdelegates. Let's get the race going. Let's get the party healing started now. Let's have the action from the superdelegates NOW.

    devlzadvocate,

To clarify, your vote should be counted and I hope that eventually it will be. It is your selflessness regards that vote that I applaud.

The Washington Blade? Oh, that's impotent.... What about the Reader's Digest? (large print edition)....??

Sounds like a great "mantra", Petewa. Why don't you practice that while the adults do the heavy lifting..... ;).....
