I feel bad for the guy given his situation with a new little baby to support but the reality is that there aren't many opportunities for young people who don't have diplomas or at least a GED. Maybe that's enough to get him back to school.

But where were the adults in his life to encourage him to finish his education and keep his tootstie roll in the wrapper? Ah, yeah....Nevermind.

Such a lost opportunity for such a bright and attractive young fellow. Now what will he do? I don't see him going back to high school because after all, he's been there and he's done that. Almost 19 now and time's flying. He could go into the family business cooking Meth but Bristol's the kind of girl who'd just hog the product. There must be some way these folks can get a H.S. diploma into this family. After all, with a H.S. diploma you can be guaranteed to get all sorts of high paying, prestigious jobs.

Neither are relevant . If Travolta wanted to cremate his sons remains its a family matter and none of anyone's business. As for the Alaska trailer trash, the entire lot of them are certainly not relevant and who gives a rats backside what Levi Johnston and his dope peddlin mom do or do not do including the governors offspring.

i thought somewhat the same thing. something is fishy about his replies. "everything by the book" my ass... the repukes and their ilk think nothing of lying for their benefit and to save thier ass on other peoples money, other peoples expense.

the only reason the son quit is because there was insurmountable evidence that this whole thing was cooked up like a meth lab....

It doesn't appear formalities are big in their "neck of the woods". I'm not sure, but Levi, Track, Trig, Trip ARE their formal names. They use shortened versions for friends and family (Le, Ack, Iggy, and Rip?)

As for whether Levi Johnston is Tripp's father? Well, if he was smart, he'd be getting a paternity test before being saddled with the Palins as relatives! As long as he can keep from marrying, he can keep the interests of the scandal rags.

Given Bristol's fertility, we can expect Trix, Trill, and Trist before she is 21.

Travolta's "odd" handling was just off-the-shelf Scientology. It's alright. The media writes its own stories. The boy is dead, the remains have been cremated, the family has returned to Ocala (north of Orlando), and a private memorial will follow at a later date. It looks a little odd, perhaps, because it's John Travolta and he's famous. By rich people standards, the Travoltas live quietly and are good Florida taxpayers. Scientology apparently teaches that autism does not exist so the son, who was learning disabled was diagnosed with something else. Okay. Whatever. His parents loved him and now he's gone. End of the story that wasn't a story.

Travolta claimed/believed that his son had Kawasaki Syndrome. It is more commonly diagnosed in people of Japanese ancestry. Kawasaki Syndrome isn't connected with seizures (cardiac problems yes, seizures no). It appears that Jett had Autism; but Autism doesn't exist in the science fiction scribblings of L. Ron Hubbard.

If Autism actually did exist, then it would explain much. Untreated Autism can readily lead to seizures. Travolta said that Jett had a long history of seizures. John Travolta's brother (Joey) believed that Jett had Autism. Joey is somewhat of an expert on Autism, he did a documentary on the subject.

Until Palin came onto the scene, I had no idea so many Alaskans put so little effort or thought into education. It's rather sad.
However, it does explain why the social conservatives love her so much. Intelligence and education, along with critical thinking and logic, scares the crap out of them. They couldn't have found a better poster child for their rather backward world view.

The value of a High School Diploma seems to be a thing of the past. At my house it is not and never has been...it's a milestone..something to be celebrated. Alaska seems to be a job rich state....with not a whole lot of prying eyes........annnnnnnnnnh. Those days are gone.

Watching reruns of "Sordid Lives", I kept looking at Bonnie Bedelia's character and thinking of Sarah Palin. She's thinks that pointing out Levi's getting a job ahead of qualified applicant's is somehow taking potshots at her -- well why not? Isn't she implicated in the infamous bridge and shady oil deals? It's a natural assumption to make (and I'm not all that convinced Levi's daddy had those strong enough connections to get his little spawn to the head of the line before all of the amply qualified candidates). Let's see: crooked mom-in-law, pervert pop-in-law, nepotistic pappy, druggy mammy; sounds like good American stock to me. You know, the kind Miz Pay-off, err Palin likes in small towns like Wasilla:
