AMERICAblog: Liddy Dole, homophobe, has to go

  • The Tim Channel · 1 year ago
For the record, here in Mississippi I am starting to see (Jackson) ads on local television that in part, bash gays by suggesting that Ronnie Musgrove is friendly to them. The asshat involved is Wicker (R). I wish the democrats could take control back in the State. We've got some of the biggest Thug asshats around. The state is predominantly liberal but we're under seige by the last throws of Jim Crow in it's remodulated compassionate conservatism garb.

    Enjoy.

I just watched some of McCain's speech in Pa. He hit every talking point. Obama is going to take money away from working Americans to give it to the people who don't work and don't pay taxes. He has ravaged Joe the Plumber a man who dreams of buying his own Plumbing company. He is a socialist. He can't be trusted. Joe Biden says he will be tested and isn't ready to govern. (I do have to admit that Obama needs to tell hair plug man to STFU.) His healthcare plan will cause taxes to go up and won't cover you. Then after the rant, rant, rant of Obama redistributing weath he goes into his plan to buy back bad mortgages and give new mortgages at the lower value and interest rate people can afford. Isn't this redistributing wealth Johnny Mack. Why on earth should I help someone who has a mortgage they shouldn't have gotten enjoy the declining value of their home.
He also ranted against the bail out of banks even though he voted for it. The crowd was cheering. This election is not over and Obama and his staff need to be vigilant about every word that he says and especially what Biden is saying. Americans can't deal with reality or that the world will test whomever becomes President. They want to hear that they can go back to watching Dancing to the Stars, Idol and Survivor Gitmo.

Imagine if she had said all heterosexuals are rapists?
I take the editorial means to imply that they're not.

Yes, Dole is behind. Furthermore, I've never heard her comment on the 4 women soldiers/wives who were killed by their lovers/husbands down at Ft. Bragg and Camp LeJeune. No comment by Dole whatsoever on THOSE heterosexual predators. Haven't heard of any gays killing one another.

Everyone in NC knows this leech doesn't live in NC...yet they still voted for her 6 yrs ago...but a lot has changed since that time, since she hasn't done a damned thing for the State of NC except lost the state a shitload of jobs with nothing to replace them.

A spot on and new green screen visual of the current moment in the campaign of John McMud:

Because Johnny's so disorganized, I bet no one on the McCain side sought to acquire the teevee commercial availibilities a few weeks ago...Even with money, Johnny would be restricted to freakish, not sought after commercial slots if available at the usual federal candidate cut rate.
And, old Mitch isn't lookin too good in the Commonwealth of Kentucky:

Well, Obama could get even by using Liddy's tactics that she used in the early '80s. Liddy, as Transportation Secretary, threatened to withhold federal highway funds from any state that didn't raise its drinking age to 21.

So, Obama just withholds highway funds from any state that won't allow and recognize gay marraige.

I live in Fayetteville and received a flier that reinforced many of the assertions in Dole's ads. Not only was the flier homophobic but it also implied that Hagan would be imposing an atheistic agenda that would result in the banning of Christmas.

Just another reason why Hagan deserves everyone's support. And, yes, from what I can tell, Hagan is in pretty good shape as long as everyone continues to work hard.

It'll be a shame to see Dole go. No one has been better for electing Democrats to the Senate than she was, with her completely inept stewardship of the NRSC. Vaya con dios, Liddy. May my money help boot you out the door.

I hate to defend Elizabeth Dole, (I do hope she loses in November) but much of the problems with the NRSC weren't all her fault. The Republicans in Congress were going to face a serious headwind in 2006, given with Iraq and Hurricane Katrina aftermath. It is very difficult to recruit in this sort of climate. Besides fundraising dried up with the anger toward Bush. Dole big failure is getting good candidates in open seats like Minnesota. Anyone tied to Bush was going to get punished by Independents. Whether it was in Minnesota or Ohio. There also seemed to be alot of control exerted by Rove and the White House, much like the stuff coming out about Katherine Harris in Florida. The Republicans should had gotten Florida, in my opinion with someone like Crist or a Statewide Republican that wasn't connected to Iraq. Much like the Republicans had a chance in New Jersey, but they blew it.

Much like Senator Ensign isn't all to blame for the massacre that Senate Republicans are going to face in November. As much as the Democrat coalition of Southern Democrats, Unions and New Dealers sort of ended by end of the Carter Administration in 1981. The Republican coalition is finding out that they can't retain power with only social conservatives. They need to appeal to Independents. The Republicans lost the Independents in 2005 over two issues, Iraq and the response to Hurricane Katrina.

Of course... That is what fascist do. They always rally their own against a common enemy group. ie...Jews, in the case of WWII. Read the "14 Characteristics of Fascism" You will find most of it fits the Republican Party.
