AMERICAblog: Lieberman and the Bush administration create a "politics of fear" echo chamber to aid McCain

  • Rab · 1 year ago
Sorry neocons, won't work this time. The sheep want cheap gas and repugs can't deliver.

How come nobody asked Dana whether this ominous threat didn't indicate that 7 plus years of George Bush DIDN"T MAKE US SAFER?
  • tlsintx · 1 year ago
i'd be worried about this if it wasn't lieberman and the bush admin.

Every new president has been tested, Joe. You're trolling for catfish with bananas.

    tls, don't you ever sleep?

Here's a little "eye opener" for you, Rab: Iraq is letting contracts to foreign producers this month in an attempt to increase production by 1.5 MMbo per day.
Could be the end of "court sponsored eco-terrorinsm

Drop in the bucket, too little and too late.

"Foreign producers": Exxon Mobil, Shell, BP, Total, et al...approved by the US.

    Mission Accomplished.

"John McCain had to leave Carol, collect disability while having a 6 figure job and wife worth 9 figures, and not pay his property taxes to prove to the terrorists he means business"-Joe Lieberman

Some days I think it won't work this time, but most days I know it will. Americans have become so dumb, and so fearful, and so lazy - just so un-American.

Has McSame answered for his part in the Keating 5 S&L scandal yet? Has he released his military records yet? His wife's questionable financial dealings? His failure to pay his property taxes in a timely manner?

McSame doesn't know Shiite from Shinola and he thinks he's a viable candidate for the Presidency???

Re Keating 5: McCain made some lame excuses at the time. I think there's a record of his statements and letters about the mess. He got off very easy---along with John Glenn.

I want to thank House and Senate leadership and leaders of the House and Senate Appropriations Committees. I am particularly grateful to Congressmen Boehner, Hoyer, Obey, and Lewis. And I want to thank members who worked hard for the GI Bill expansion -- especially Senators Webb and Warner, Graham, Burr, and McCain.

Bush gives credit to McCain on the GI Bill expansion, a bill that McCain opposed.
  • hawkseye · 1 year ago
And I think Chimpy gave himself credit for having worked in a bipartisan way to make it all happen.
    Now watch this drive.

    Let 'em.

Bin Laden's been running around, operating training camps, and planning new attacks for more than 6 years now.

All because Bush, Cheney, McCain and Lieberman wanted to try to build an empire in the Mideast instead of going after America's enemies.

Congress to Bush and Cheney: Do What You Want in Iran

    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/david-bromwich/co...

Why oh why do you think LIEberman is saying what he's saying? And it won't be next year...Iran will be bombed this year. By the US. The fleet's there, the submarines are there, the special ops are doing their thing there...

We don't have terrorists to fear; we have this White House to fear.

If I was Barack I would respond to this by saying that if it did happen I would seek justice against those who were responsible. I would not allow my administration to get distracted by unnecessary wars of distraction.

Newest shrub fluffer says that LIEberman could be right. And gravity might fail and the sun go out.

Great metaphor, Joe. Administration "echo chamber".
