I'm proud to say that I was way ahead of the curve in hating this reptile. I couldn't vote for Gore in 2000 after he chose this travesty of a human being. Nice to see that his true colors finally shown bright enough for the majority to see him for the dirtbag that he is a few years ago. The man is a complete embarassment to the Democratic Party and the State of Connecticut.

John, you'll recall that his former self was never more than a shell, anyway. Remember when he defeated Lowell Weicker (R-CT) who was a hero on gay rights, AIDS/HIV issues (and Jesse Helms' nemesis)? We got Joe Lieberman (Kinda' Technically Sorta' in Name Only D-CT) and one of the first things he did was team UP with Helms on an anti-gay amendment?
The guy is not loyal to anything but his own poll numbers, and never has been.

The way things are going, Lieberman is going to be the President Pro Tem of the Senate (Cheney's job).
Obama has spent two weeks on R&R, in the mean time McCain has increasingly, successfully defined him as someone who is unacceptable tot he electorate. McCain has thrown kitchen sink and swift boats at Obama forcing Obama onto the defense - this when McCain has to defend the last eight years. Obama has lost his mojo. Increasingly he looks like a looser, a dodo bird, Adlai Stephenson, traveling down Gore, Kerry & Dukakis road. A little more of this and all the media ads in the world won't put Obama back together again.
Obama has turned into the Manchurian Candidate... for the Republicans.

Good, the little shit didn't help one iota in 2000, let him drag down some other campaign with his droning, vapid, egocentric pleas that we need to stay in Iraq, lest people think Lieberman made a mistake supporting it. Then he can tongue down McCain to the dozens in attendance, while pundits pretend the Joe was relevant to Democrats.
Does anyone know anything about what's going on with Stephanie Tubbs-Jones? Raw Story has a report that she is in the hospital. This sounds odd, but they say she was found unconscious in her car after cops pulled her over for speeding (speeding while unconscious?).
I hope she wasn't drunk...

"happy and powerless with his fellow Republicains"...if the Democrats are so powerful, why has most of Bush's legislative agenda been passed? Your fear and anger should be directed at Pelosi/Reid and the do nothing Democrates, they are the ones that will insure the White House stays with the Republicans. We gave them both houses of congress and their biggest achievemants have been to get better food on the menu in the cafeteria, extended vacation time and a pay raise. Oh, and passing FISA with Obama's vote!
