I question how widespread this really is. First of all, by voting Dem in the primary, these Limbaugh listeners jeopardize possibly local Republican gains in the state. Is that worth it to them?

John,
Lemme ask, do you think the GOP would work this hard to keep Obama in the race if Clinton were still the frontrunner? In other words, how much of this horsecrap is based on Rush's fools wanting to prolong the agony of this primary for us, and how much of it based on the GOP REALLY wanting Hillary to get the nod because they think she'll be the easier candidate to beat in the general?

From the Daily Kos
Percent of the independent vote in contests thus far this cycle (where exit polling is available):
Clinton won independents in just four states out of 30 states with exit polls.

oh, and speaking of limpballs, can we please not allow this nasty, bigoted racist to slither away from calling the mayor of Los Angeles a "shoe shine guy"?
Randi Rhodes is stating that many of the Republicans are voting on the Democratic candidates because they are so fed up with the GOP failed policies. Many Republicans actually like and are voting for Obama but Rush Limbaugh does not want that fact to come out so he invented this cover story for his followers.

Anybody want to hazard a guess as to what percentage of voters in Indiana are acting in concert with this vile tub of goo and registering as Democrats so they can vote for Sen. Clinton? I have to believe it's a fairly small number. The sexist, racist, homophobic, impotent, thrice-married, drug-addicted slob has been known to stretch the truth now and then.

Actually quite a few folks in Indiana are marching to Limbaugh's exhortations. According to one precinct committee person, (who happens to be a Republican) one predominently Republican precinct handed out 50 % Republican ballots and 50 % Democratic ballots. Another Republican precinct said that they handed out 2:1 Ds over Rs. This precinct committee person was irate because there are several important Republican primaries, including an effort to finally rid themselves of that parasite Dan Burton. His quote was " I hope these kool aide drinking Republicans who are listening to Rush Limbaugh are happy. Their vote for Hillary won't mean a damn, it only helps Burton. " With any luck the RushBots & Republicans in Indiana WILL get the representation they deserve - another term with that tool Dan Burton as their senator.

Huff post Clinton +7 in Indiana Obama +12 in North Carolina
Rush does not care one bit whether this country is weak or strong, right or wrong. Any of his minions who really believe he cares one lick about true American values is seriously delusional. All he,s is interested in is EASY radio. The Clinton,s will make his job so simple that he'll be able to move his studio to the Dominican Republic were he can stay perpetually hopped up on Oxycontin and surround himself pre-pubescent native girls.

Would Rethugs, who like to dominate local politics as well as national, really throw away those votes to follow an idiot? I doubt it.

Bubba made 50 visits, a lot of them to small towns dominated by whites who were the majority who went to see him, in NC. Tell me the Clintons aren't trying to appeal to the redneck vote...it's disgusting, but glad to see their masks are off.

After Limbaugh and Coulter endorsed Hillary, I had to wonder what is motivating her insane supporters. They are definitely not Democrats and they are supporting someone who is dishonest, corrupt, and immoral. Whoever the Hillbots are, I don't want them anywhere near the Obama campaign once Billary is kicked out of the race. These people are wicked to the core just like Rush and Ann Coulter.

John, Do you believe ANYTHING Limbaughghghgh says? I finally gave up on his casuistries in 1991, when he asserted that FDR knew the Japanese were going to bomb Pearl Harbor. Then he avoided the question when a caller challnged him. He's a college dropout who thought Schrub was intelligent because he'd bought an MBA degree. He is an inspiration to me. One look at him, and I want to stay on my diet!

ahhhhhh keith, you might wanna read this link.... i beleive its already well established that FDR knew....
My point was that Limbaugh begged the question. In any case, the cherry picking in that article could also make the case for the attack on Iraq as well. I found the part about polio and perjury bizarre.

DCinDC,
I respect your opinions. Do you really think that Republicans are sincere in switching party affiliation to vote for Obama because they prefer him over McC, or is it more likely that they are trying to give the nom to Hillary whom they believe is beatable by McC?
