That's easy. You are only considered a "war hero" in Republican eyes if you've milked government benefits for 20 years while in the military during peacetime, and end up serving your country during war as a POW (well, except for 20 hours of flight time). If there is one thing the conservatives celebrate, it's imprisonment.

Isn't that, after all, what the whole eventual concept of the Great Wall to Keep The Brown People Out is all about? They'll sell it to us as keeping others out, and eventually use it to keep us all IN.

"Are you tired of the LIES of McCain especially in his ads.

When McCain runs his ads, he resorts to lying:

Case:
Fact:
(name 2-3 examples)

The reality is this:
When Obama runs ads he will tell you the truth about McCain:

Case: McCain says he supports the troops.
Fact: He voted (actually he did not vote for the bill that would help veterans.
(name 2-3 examples)

When is Obama going to start fighting back? There is so much ammunition out there to use against mcshame and they won't even have to lie or make stuff up! You can't make some of this s**t up! The mcshame campaign keeps throwing stuff out there, true or not, and Obama sits back and won't do anything. I am growing so upset by Obama and his advisors. When are they planning on starting to fight back? The idiot people out there only remember the mcshame ads and if Obama doesn't start rebutting some of the lies the idiots will get the idea that the lies really are true. If Obama isn't going to dispute them they must be true. What the f**k is Axelrod et al doing? What are they waiting for? They don't even have to look for things to throw at mcshame. It keeps falling at their feet.

BTW the talking heads are beginning to explode trying to figure out who Obama is picking as VP. No one yet meets with their (talking heads) approval. lol Wish the Democrats would just say who they have picked and let's get on with it. What's the big mystery? My feeling, or at least my hope, is Obama's waiting until the debates to nail McCain on issues such as these. We all know McCain is going to try to appear as the wiser, elder statesman during the debates, be as condescending as he possibly can, pat Obama on the head and tell him to run along and let the grownups handle things. What Obama does need to do is point out EVERY time McCain contradicted his own statements regarding support for the troops, contradicted his own record on voting, or NOT voting in the Senate for support for veterans. And we all know there's a endless supply of examples where McCain contradicted himself and completely distorted the truth about statements or votes he's made. McCain will say or do anything at this point, then deny he said it, then claim he always said it but never said it, if it means a vote. What Obama needs to do is let McCain keep giving himself all the rope he needs to hang himself. I think the reaction to ads like the like one regading visiting the troops was so over the top, the msm is starting to see this miserable s.o.b. for who he really is. He's sold his soul, if he ever had one to sell.
