  • Gorgonzola · 1 year ago
Hillary isn't stupid. If she fails to support the ticket with enthuiasm,Her support in NY State will erode beyond repair.
  • gaiilonfong · 1 year ago
Her support in NY has already eroded, she will have a tough time getting reelected as a Senator, no less TRYING to ever run for Prez.
  • Bush_Bites · 1 year ago

    hillary LOST
  • jharp · 1 year ago
I don't get it and I like Markos.

We had two good candidates. Why not mentionng they both have the same platforms, both very capable, and how in the fuck could you vote for someone who is against everything you are in favor of.
  • Steve_in_CNJ · 1 year ago
he was talking about the nitwits carville and begala and rendell and why they won't bury the hatchet. it wasn't really meant as a personal attack on clinton. i don't think it's controversial to say she lost because of bad campaign strategy and not wrong issues.
  • Bush_Bites · 1 year ago
I'll never understand how Markos and Jerome got along.
  • HereinDC · 1 year ago
    I saw
David Gregory on THE TODAY SHOW this morning.
I just saw him on with Keith Olberman.

I guess he's been told to talk negative about Obama and Clinton.
    Over and over and over....
Everytime he's on camera he's always talking negative.
  • Bush_Bites · 1 year ago
    Nancy's speaking now.

Seems like most people are just milling around, tho, and not really listening.
  • mirth · 1 year ago
Yeah, in part she's talking about the great accomplishemnts of the 110th.

Maybe people are milling to keep from booing.

Yes besides scheduling the Clintons, tired useless old Nancy Pelosi, looking even more like the scrawny old white woman with worse hair than usual that she is, is now haranguing the troops with her "list of accomplishments"! Unless they did a lot of impeaching when no one was looking, this bitch is one person who needs to sit down and shut up. Perhaps I should go back to the screen and see, perhaps this is finally the point where when she is going to explain her rediculous tack about impeachment being OFF THE TABLE. I can trul;y say this woman is almost as despised as Dubya; she needs to disappear from the political scene; I hope she iss serverely beaten in her wrong-headed attempt at reelection.. NAncy Pelosi has become a disasater to the democratic party possibly even a worse one than Smilin' Hil and her whoremonger hubby baggage.
  • Ohio_Dem · 1 year ago
Yes, bash the "scrawny old white" Democrat women. Call them a "bitch" Call for physical violence against them. And call Bill Clinton a whoremonger.

Apparently if your name isn't Obama, you're not a democrat and you will get NO REPSECT as far as the readers of this board are concerned.

KEEP IT UP AND WATCH YOU GUY LOSE IN NOVEMBER.
YOU PEOPLE ARE COSTING THE DEMOCRATS THE WHITE HOUSE AND YOU'RE TOO STUPID TO STOP.

By the way, we were worrying about the Swiftboating that the evil Republicans would do. One piece is that they are claiming that Al Qaeta is donating to and Obama has accepted hundreds of thousands of Al Qaeta dollars.
  • HereinDC · 1 year ago
Ann Curry's FIRST question to Speaker Pelosi was about Hillary Clinton.

    GOD DAMN.

David Gregory and now Ann Curry.

    WTF!
  • HereinDC · 1 year ago
Geeze , the 2nd question and now the 3rd question was about Clinton.
  • HereinDC · 1 year ago
AND the 4th question about Clinton
  • HereinDC · 1 year ago
5th and 6th Question about Clinton
  • HereinDC · 1 year ago
NOT one single question to the speaker of the house about Barack Obama.
  • HereinDC · 1 year ago
And now ANOTHER reporter talking to Chuck Shumer and her first 3 questions SO FAR are about Clinton.
  • Mikki --SE Pennsylvania · 1 year ago
When the hell are we going to be rid of the fucking Clintons and the arsehole press people who ask about them rather than exposing McBush3's dishonorable, dishonest, and shifty immoral past.?
As dad has been saying so corrrectly:
    HILLARY LOST!!!
    HILLARY LOST!!!

    Surprise!

this shows the GOPers are putting out lies about McCain's position on overturning Roe v. Wade...

    http://thinkprogress.org/2008/08/25/mccain-surr...

Hillary's supporters need to recognize that McCain cannot win.
  • Milli · 1 year ago
Not only has Hillary hampered Obama's chance of winning, she has opened up the door for dirty, republican-style, campaigning within the Democratic Party.
  • vkobaya · 1 year ago
McCain really blew it forcing HIllary's hand to endorce Obama. McCain has to be the dumbest, far dumber than Bush. If he had kept his mouth shut, Hillary would never have been forced to ask her supporters to switch to Obama. She could have soft pedaled it with "I suppor Obama," saying nothing about who her supporters should support.

Kennedy's appearance was an inspiration. He was definitely very, very weak and very, very sick. That obviously took a lot of effort as he weakened clearly during his time on the podium. God Bless Teddy Kennedy!
  • Polly_Tics · 1 year ago
Teddy always manages to bring a tear to my eye or a smile to my beak.

    Long live Teddy!

To be honest, I thought he looked pretty good. I met him during his 2006 reelection campaign, and he also appeared at the state Dem convention, and he was pretty frail looking then. Sharp as a whip mentally, but definitely walking his age.

I will say his speech at the 2006 state convention showed more stamina (in length for sure), but that's to be expected. It's nice to see him so emotionally strong and optimistic about his future, it makes you believe that he will be around to annoy the Republicans (and then gain their respect too) for a long time.
  • Indigo · 1 year ago
Got it! Good questions. Tell Marcos I said "Thank you."
  • lynne · 1 year ago
Dude...John...I didn't think anyone talked faster than I did when interviewing on radio/TV...wow!

    I feel better now! ~grin~

Nice job, for those of us that couldn't make it, we are living vicariously through you.

Hit a couple of fun parties for me! And if you run into the Blue Mass Group crew (David, Charley, or Bob) tell them I said hi. :)
