AMERICAblog: McCain broke truce, aired negative ad on 9/11, dishonored 3,000 American dead

What an asshole. Does he respect anything? Lord knows he'd wipe his ass on a Bible.
  • Dave of the Jungle · 1 year ago
Karl Rove redefined the word *despicable* and now McCain is practicing his craft.

I have an idea for an Obama ad:

"ever wonder why and where Dick Cheney goes to an undisclosed location? Right now, Governor Palin is also in an undisclosed location. (Cut to showing Cheney going out under anestisia) Bush is shown doing the same thing....then cut to showing both in recovery, Cheney as the post op Palin, and Bush turned into McCain.

    Funny, and to the point!
  • BLOGGING BITCH! · 1 year ago
Sad thing is that Cheney gave more interviews in the last 10 days that Sarah did.

Think the Obama Campaign should hand out Rape Kite Coupons in case someone you know gets raped in Wasilla? That would be classic. It's an opportunity that you don't get twice.

Wonder why McCain didn't mention Mark Foley in his pedophile ad?

Think it was because The Republicans never even cited him for an ethics violation?

Karl Rove is a man without a conscience.
    Apparently McLiar finds that admirable.
  • tlsintx · 1 year ago
    Country First?

    my ass.
    John McCain has no honor.
He sealed his fate the day he hired Rove.
  • Dave of the Jungle · 1 year ago
And his running mate is a vapid fruitcake.

    Pass the word.
  • tlsintx · 1 year ago
McCain's henchmen cry that Palin is being 'disrespected' ...while she links 9/11 to Iraq...

that disrespects the intelligence of every American.
  • grandma · 1 year ago
Any lie to distract the media....keep the subject off the issues and all the failed policies of the last 8 years.
  • ron071 · 1 year ago
    Dave-of-the-Jungle:
Lincoln Chafee, R of Rhode Island, named Palin best by the term WACKO! You remember, Jacko/Wacko.
  • ron071 · 1 year ago
Judge them by their actions and not their words. McSame has become a pathetic prisoner again, but this time his captor is Karl Rove. How sad it is to recognize the reality of John McSame.

JOHN McSAME WILL DELIVER MORE BUSH / CHENEY PAIN !!!!!!
  • aquarius2 · 1 year ago
Too bad there isn't an ad showing McCain and Cindy stating there will be NO negative ads coming from their camp. I guess Obama won't attack McCain on his honor but sure as hell some 527's could.
  • IMStubby · 1 year ago
When is Obama going to act like he's in a fight.
Where is Biden? He should be all over McCain/Rove and Palin
Where are the other Dems? Jim Webb should be gutting these bastards.

Never take a knife to a gun fight.

In the ABC interview when asked about national security Palin responded with something about energy. And Rachel Maddow has been predicting for some time that the U.S. is on the verge of actually saying that "access to oil is a justification for war." I think the McCain Campaign is "going to go there." (Or is that too much of a real issue for them to address?)
  • JohnInTexas · 1 year ago
No wonder he wouldn't make eye contact with Obama when they spoke to each other at ground zero yesterday afternoon. I thought it was just because McPappy was afraid of tripping and rolling down the hill at first.

Is anyone else sick to death of every mild criticism of McCain starting with: "We respect John McCain's war record."? Does being in the military make you a hero? Not to me. (See North, Ollie.) Enough! As I recall, John Kerry was also in the service, and did anyone respect HIS service?

This is a game. And I have lost respect for those who continue to honor McCain's war service. Most of these imbeciles are money-hungry goons, anyway. Hey! Is it fiscally responsible to be in the Air Force and crash 3 (or is it 4?) planes, because of carelessness/recklessness?

I was cogent during VietNam. I saw first hand how everyone in the military wasn't honorable. This worshipping McCain just for being a POW is sick. But, as usual, everything that is black is now white, etc. And the press does nothing. Just yesterday, I saw Tweety getting mildly upset by what he almost said were lies from Palin about the Bridge to Nowhere. The reason? Some "fact checker" said Palin actually WAS against the Bridge -- after it was already shot down by the Congress. I am sick of this BS. I really am.

I wish Charlie had asked Palin if picking the CEO of Exxon as his running mate would have been a good idea. He knows energy.
  • brb915 · 1 year ago
Or President Cecil Roberts of the United Mine Workers Union---he knows coal, and hell, he's even been to China, so he actually has more experience! AND if he stands on the mountaintop, he can see 3-4 states in parts of PA

Media Patsies are what Media Patsies do. It is beyond the pale how clear McCain lies and transgressions ( broken pledges ) are being glossed over or ignored by the media. Why??????Has the media corporate consolidation resulted in co-opting? Are the polling companies complicit in this same corporate buy-out? If it looks like a duck, ....................it is a duck!

The voters will have to fight their way to the truth with or without corporate " HELP ".

The Washington Post did not start with what a hero John McCain is. They gave a blistering article on Cindy McCain's drug abuse. They really focused on how she and Senator McCain tried to cover it up, .and how Cindy McCain used the people that worked for her. She was getting the illegal drugs in her staff member’s name. When one of her staff members found out what she was doing and reported her, Senator and Cindy McCain destroyed the person who reported it. This article also points out the fact that even though Cindy McCain committed the crime, and should be serving 20 years in prison, she escaped unscathed while everyone else involved careers have been destroyed, one of the doctor’s license to practice medicine was revoked but Cindy McCain is still Mrs “pure and innocent” and “a great American”. It is funny how money determines if a person is a criminal or not.

saw that-----the disgrace is this. Free clinics around this country have very little to no access to drugs these days 'cause one bad apple did spoil the barrel. You have to have so many red tape/hoop jumping regs to get the things you desparately need, just cause one or two high heiresses had free go of it elsewhere
  • econprofes · 1 year ago
That is most unfortunate, the MSM should be informing the public about the residual affects Cindy McCain’s criminal actions has had on people who motives are to help others and not like Cindy McCain who used her charity as a means to get illegal drugs.

the people who died in the twin towers, the pentagon and Flight 93 were from 90 different countries. not accurate to refer to '3000 american dead'.

I want to commend John for having the good sense not to link to the ad itself. We have to stop doing that completely. More here. http://www.tagg-lines.com/2008/09/web-wide-blog...

McCain may be one of the very few republicans in congress who has erved in the armed forces. Many more Democrats have served. Kerry was demeaned and ridiculed for his Viet Nam service as was Max Cleland. I have a sincere and deep respect for anyone who has served in a combat zone during a time of war. My three brothers served in combat zones in WW2 and I was drafted into the army. One of them landed at Omaha beach during the Normandy invasion. None had ever talked of their war experiences until a year ago prior to his death my brother talked to me about the horror of total war at Normandy and the his effort to try and forget it all to no avail. With all the war mongering which led to Iraq and the effort to renew "cold war" problems it amazes me that our government is pressing aggresive talk and action to upset what has been an era of peace for some time. I have no respect for dishonorable politicians who send others off to die in a war that has no legitmacy and minimize the numbers killed in order to keep it going for greed nd profit. This what is happening in Iraq. The enemy was and is in Afghanistan.

Hey you can't blame McLoon, if Obie insists over and over and over again on playing Charlie Brown to McLoons Lucy it's as inevitable as the tides . No sympathy whatsoever.
