In a new memoir set to be published May 6, the former commander of US forces in Iraq provides new intimate details of the goings-on at high levels of the Bush Administration in the first year of the Iraq war.
His sharp tongued conclusion: "Hundreds of billions of taxpayer dollars were unnecessarily spent, and worse yet, too many of our most precious military resource, our American soldiers, were unnecessarily wounded, maimed, and killed as a result. In my mind, this action by the Bush administration amounts to gross incompetence and dereliction of duty."

Whoa! Gas prices are causing desperation and stupidity. Two aspiring gas robbers were caught after a search of hospital ER's for burn patients. Apparently, the none too brilliant thieves decided to check the fullness of a boat gas can by using a cigarette lighter to look inside the can. You couldn't make this up if you tried.

Wow think about it... If we had started a real oil independence program back under Clintoon part one we would have no need to buy oil from OPEC. (We could get what we need from a como of ANWAR, Conservation, the use of and building of new Nuke power, Clean Coal, the sun, wind power (both of the last two for use in homes only as they have no real mass power aplications), the Kanooks, the Mexicans and So AM oil. Then the only people that would have to die for oil in the middle east would be the EEC and the Chi-Coms. To bad. I guess hindsight is 20-20. But then if the EEC felt that there was a need to go to the middle east to fight for oil they would just call on the nation that they always do when somebody needs to be bombed (Like in Kosovo) The USA so then it would REALY be Americans being killed for no good reason... I guess my point is there is no way to win so why bother to try... Hmmmm... I wonder if I can get one more year of war service in before Big Love Wins and pulls the troops out?...

1st McCain said exactly what everybody knew all along. Bush & Cheney wanted the Iraq oil. Bushco pushed for the Iraq War 2 to create choas and steal both Oil and loot the United States. Bushco accomplished its mission.
McCain now is a liar. He now tries to say what he meant to say the first time around applied to Gulf War 1. Do not let McCain fool you. He was talking about Gulf War 2. Now that McCain is taking some political heat for his comments he lies and says he was refering to the 1st Gulf War. Do not trust this man.
