It's off-topic, but isn't Limbaugh going to be arrested? I mean, he IS using airwaves to talk people into illegal behavior!
As for McCain, he feels the poor should be tortured until Bush gets his fill.

Awesome BB, Tue 9:03am, In a perfect world, a large black van would take Limbaugh away and he would never be heard of or from again. And no body would be looking for him, thats the funny part.

As I said on the last thread, I can't see how McCain can get through this campaign without proving he's a complete idiot. I cannot think of a single issue where his views aren't completely delusional. Maybe he's just senile, but that's no reason to elect him.

Of course he is delusional AND senile. His only interests are sex and money. So handy when he can get both from a semi-attractive lobbyist. But don't forget the beer fortune... that was what got Miss Cindy promoted from bimbo to wife. Insane McCain gives senior citizens a bad name. We aren't all like him.

If capitalism collapses let it be noted it happened because of the greed of businesses and not of the people who lived within the system. Its the only element of capitalism that I think is crap, greed. There is a reason it is one of the deadly sins. Ronald Reagan appealed to those greedy bastards and Oliver Stone summed it up with Gordon Gecko, "Greed is good". How much is too much? Look at what we pay for the bread and circuses of today , what passes for entertainment.

Notice how quickly the 4,000 dead Americans have disappeared from the corporateMSM's news coverage? The important things this morning have been how much fat there is in coffee creamers and other equally pressing issues.
No wonder Americans can never learn from their mistakes. If it's that easy to dismiss these tragic deaths in an unnecessary war, then we get the kind of leadership we deserve.

Too bad so many people in this country believe they can be "rich" like all the TV ads, politicians, and such tell them.
Truth is, most people are hurting, but have too much pride to admit they are being scammed. I've seen grown men subject their families to hunger because they were too "proud" to get food stamps or help for their families when out of work, etc.
People should look out for their own interests, not those of politicians like McCrazy and the Boys on Wall St., who have scammed the US repeatedly. If corporations are considered "a person" by the SC, then they should be able to go bankrupt and insolvent just like any other person, esp. those they scammed, not get govt welfare.

Speaking of the mortgage crisis, I heard on the news this morning the former CEO of Countrywide is starting a new company to help restructure the existing ailing loans. Shouldn't this be illegal? This fellow made millions on sub-prime loans and helped create one of the worst housing problems in history, NOW he is going to make millions by "fixing" what he created. The man should be banned from ever having anything to do with the loan business.

No, no you don't understand how it works. The CEO drove one company into the ground. The government bails him and the co. out with taxpayer funds, slaps his wrist, and he is free to start again and use the same old dirty tricks to scam the unware public. This is the republicon/Bush/McCain way! No only should he be banned he should go directly to jail in shackles, and his ill-gotten gains should be stripped from him pewrsonally and corporately. Let his wife and kids learn about honest labor for a change. But this is not the republicon way. You see?
In the news here in L.A. they were talking about how the mortgage and Wall Street brokers are paying between $25,000 and $150,000 for rent in Malibu. What a crisis!

Meanwhile, the dollar has once again fallen among world currencies, on speculation that the Fed will reduce rates again. Get the wheelbarrows out.
And Wall St. is lapping up the profits in the meantime.

All that McCain did today was to prove to the American people that he could still read a teleprompter... in fact three (3) teleprompters.
But he did little to quite the fears of the American people!
He was able to help business feel good and that not a good thing... it means more of the old Bush crap!

John McCain gave another of his 'pattoned' straight talks today this time, in Santa Ana, California. McCain was attempting to burnish up his economic credentials. The subject was the subprime mortgage/ steep drop in housing prices crisis. His speech offered little more than the usual Bush bromides; tough love for the small homeowner but forgiveness for the investment banker solution, favored by the administration and the Federal Reserve Board. McCain strongly opposes bailouts except when they are needed. This won't give investment bankers much pause, who already make huge and obscene bonuses for 'gambling', by taking on risky mortgages when the housing prices and then the hedge funds go up, and when both go down, the government can backstop their losses to prevent 'systemic risk'. Mortgage Points describe certain charges to be paid in order to obtain a mortgage on a home. Each mortgage point is a fee based on one percent of the total amount of the loan.
As for McCain, he feels the poor should be tortured until Bush gets his fill.
