Just as in the wake of Katrina: "we must not play the blame game... the blame game just hurts America... the blame game prevents solutions from happening... each side is playing the blame game..."

I'd start a pool on when and who the first "reporter" will be to ask McCain if he's "fucking nutz" when he comes up with this crap, but you go to war with the reporters you have, not the ones you wish you have...

He can't fling poo because of his disabled arms! How dare you mock a tortured POW that way!
Maybe somebody should just sidle up to McCain and say "Stop torturing yourself."

it's not working very well, is it?
I saw an anti-Obama ad put out by the McCain campaign naming 3 questionable characters with questionable ties to Obama and made mention of the corrution in Chicago politics.
whatever........
Can't wait to see him take his oath of office on Jan 20, 2009. I'm taking the day off because I will be celebrating ALL day.

I am sick and tired of McCain. I saw a clip from, I guess this morning, where he was blaming Obama. Jesus Christ, he was rolling his eyes, making weird facial expressions and even managed to use air quotes. This could be a future president using the most immature posture I have ever seen. I really hope he keels over before the election.

I fully blame the lyinggodamnedrepublicans for putting us where we are today. Their whole party is based upon the absolute destruction of the Constitution, shredding of the Bill of Rights and the total looting of the Treasury for their own personal good and the good of their cronies. The only good republican is a republican serving a brief sentence in one of our SuperMax facilities while awaiting their turn in front of the brick wall with a blindfold and a cigarette.

Gee Ben,
You left out the elimination of the Rule of Law.
If the Rule of Law procedures are not enforce, then the Constitution has no effective meaning. Nothning in the Constitution matters if it is not enforces, adn that enforcement requires the Rule of Law.
That's how they can shred the Bill of Rights and loot the treasury and still clam to be Americans who swear to support the Constitution of the United States when they are appointed to federal jobs.
They support the Constitution but ignore the Rule of Law.
Works quite well when facing the very ignorant reporters from the media.

When ever a repub doesn't want to "play the blame game" I sense that they are feeling guilty (if they are capable) or know they are a major reason for (insert disaster here).

I saw Bohner earlier complaining the bill failed cuz Pelosi's speech was too partisan... good for Barney Frank saying he will be really really super nice to them and maybe then they'll feel better and change their minds.
What a lame, ridiculous bunch of kids the GOP is.

Sadly if we really do enter a depression, most people do not understand what that means. Widespread unemployment, widespread homelessness, widespread poverty and widespread hunger or starvation. People have no money, borrowed or their own. It is kind of sad to see a people destroy themselves because they are angry. I hope we all get that paycheck the next time it is due. Sadly time will tell at this point. Americans have just thrown the baby out with the bath water. (edit) I so hope I am wrong!

The obvious question that should be asked here is whether John McCain will "suspend" his campaign again to go back to DC to "fix" the problem. Get this talking point out there, it puts McCain in a terribly defensive position.
charles33

Not to mention that he thinks he ACTUALLY suspended his campaign last week (mentioned it again today in Columbus) when, in fact, he did not.
