AMERICAblog: McCain hires racist who told voters McCain's daughter was a "black baby" in 2000

  • freshpaint · 1 year ago
Have they ever explained why she was cut out of the big photo spread on the cover of People magazine earlier this year?
  • bluestockton · 1 year ago
Very good question. I've never seen Bridget in a picture with McSame unless Cindy is also in it, or with Daddy putting his arm around her. Never mind does he love her--does he even like her? He doesn't act like it.

The navy has a long history of racism, sexism and homophobia, so it stands to reason that McCain was at least influenced by that. He's a regular Tailhook kind of guy.

How many times must it be said? - John McCain has NO HONOR. None. Zero.

He is the epitome of what it means to be a Christian right Republican who puts PARTY FIRST!

Republicans sow the fertile fields of hate and violence resurrecting the specter of the dark vile monster that is McCarthyism....

and John McCain puts them on his payroll and on his campaign. ENOUGH!!!

It isn't about honor or the lack of honor. It's about mental health care and the lack of it. Senator McCain suffers publically from PTSD related to captivity and stress during the Vietnamese Civil War.

His issues are unresolved and ignored but recongized in his erratic behavior, his Turretts-like outbursts, and his clouded judgment.

Whether other issues related to aging might also be involved is unknown because what medical records of his have been released are inconclusive and have nothing pertinent to say about his behavioral issues.

He should be understood as an object of our profound concern, a poster-child of the neglect that characterizes the United States health care system.
  • nicho · 1 year ago
Neglect? He has the best health care possible. And it's all free. John McCain has never had to pay for health care in his entire life -- and he gets nothing but the best.
  • Indigo · 1 year ago
I don't agree.  His behavior proves that he's had no appropriate mental health screening or care.

UPDATE: Since Michele Bachman went on Tweety's show and said that everyone who disagreed with her was un-American, her opponent, El Tinklenberg, has raised nearly $500,000 -- that's a half a million dollars in 24 hours. Thank God for the Internets.

I hope he runs ads every hour on the hour for the next two weeks. If I lived close enough, I would trudge door to door for him.

Like de Buddha say (sort of), there is an upside and a downside to everything.
Yes, I just sent a few bucks to El Tinklenberg.

Haha...love it nicho. This is what the internet is all about now. She stuck her foot in her mouth big time. He'll win:)

I have no feeling of pity for the bastard. He hired the same idiots to run his own campaign. Why, because he knows (he thinks he knows) the outcome.

OB speaks before 100,000 in Missouri. Wow! Beyond Impressive. OB is up again in the Gallup polls.

HuffPo is reporting that a robo call in Pennsylvania uses the N-word. This is no surprise coming from the McSlime camp.
  • shrrrr · 1 year ago
    This needs a link...
    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/10/18/racist...

They asks for anyone getting this robo-call to report it to a link provided at the end of the report.

It is a pity that McCain chose to put aside any self respect, and use the same hateful people, who chose to attack his family. What does that say about the man. The fact that he kissed up to people like Falwell, and others, who ridiculed him was also disgusting. I lost all respect for him, when he embraced Bush, and campaigned for him, after what Bush put him through. A man with who will sell his soul to the devil, just to win an election, does not deserve to win.
  • whomod · 1 year ago
It's beyond clear that desperate McCain is now willing to go anywhere, do anything to achieve his own selfish personal ambitions. Hopefully Obama will hit him hard on his latest debasement of himself at the expense of his own family.

Apparently, that "special place in hell" is the John McCain for President campaign.

McBush turns a blind eye and deaf ear to these fascists, he actually encourages them, so I think I can confidently say that at heart he really is a fascist. Hell, even a serial killer could be made to appear benevolent with the right PR. Look what the "sunny" and "optimistic" Reagan wrought in this country.

I want someone who has control over his own self, his own campaign and who encourages his supporters, even those who are not, to be better people, one who knows what real freedom is about--that it comes from the bottom up. We have that person in Obama.

I'm just sad and mad at the same time that the forces of fascism, racism, sexism and homophobia have once again been unleashed on us.

They never learn. What a shame that Lee Atwater wrought all of this. At least he "repented" before dying of brain cancer. You'd think these idiots would remember that but then that would require them to have a conscience.
  • CPL · 1 year ago
He had to get sick with brain cancer before he repented. And he only repented because he was dying and wanted a shot at going to Heaven.

I get tired of people trying to "make amends" before they die. Atwater had time to "repent" before that. He didn't.

And neither will McCain or the Atwater acolytes he's swimming in.

Mr McCain have you no shame? What does your adopted daughter feel like knowing you support racist without saying anything? And what about your white daughter who loves you and is more liberal in her thinking how does she feel? Shame on you. Your camp is dividing this country.
