    whatever it takes? how about a draft? how about a war tax? let's use cindy's money to pay for a couple of extra days of Iraqmire. then divert the $1 billion cost of the GWB library. then tax all subscriptions to the weekly standard. in short, let's get creative about funding this disaster. whatever it takes.

    If they are going to look at a retired general, the one democrat with the most "gravitas" is Wes Clark. He has run for president before, led NATO during its SUCCESSFUL war against the scummy Serbs, a Rhodes scholar at West Point, and a social liberal. The man is smart, can speak, and makes McSame look like an idiot.

    I'm reminded of an original-series Star Trek episode, where a war was fought by computer and when your number came up, you lined up to be zapped, as docilely as a sheep to slaughter.

    Evidently McSame expects all American men and women of draft age to line up and march into the killing machine -- until the Iraqis stop killing Americans because there are none left to kill.

    There is a story that Bush is planning to build 58 or 59 permanent US bases in Iraq even though Congress passed a law in 2007 prohibiting permanent bases. Even the US puppet government in Iraq, the Quislings who are going to be executed once the US is out, are alarmed and predict a mass uprising. Will this be the rally round the flag boys (and McCain) move the Bush administration makes before leaving office to try to make Obama look bad on national security?

    If any occupier came into Louisiana to steal our oil and called themselves in charge and some of the people here helped them, sheesh, they would be necklaced so fast it would make your head spin. I gah ron tee. They would be eaten alive by the cajuns. They eat everything. It's a really poor understanding of the culture and people there. They will kill occupiers from no until eternity. Just like we would.

    Well it seems that Arizona just might now be considered a SWING STATE...curious, yes?

    Arizona's Republican Party is in a tizzy with weak membership and an ever expanding Democratic Party. Independents now have a full 27% of the voter registration in that state which makes it a sound possibility for Obama to take come November.

    Now wouldn't that be sweet?
