AMERICAblog: McCain just obliterated the Straight Talk Express. Admits it was built on a lie.

As the stock market tanks yet again (it's down 540 points as I write this), it's only appropriate that we address those who stood fast for the passage of this massive ripoff of the American people.

    Start with A-Blog!

Wall St. tanking proves just what I thought all along.

Another rip off jammed down our throats.

McSame should have just finished out his career as a Senator. Where is the shame in that? Funny, I had some respect for him in 2000.

    Now he is just repulsive...

Guys, McCain is desperate....he sees his chances of being President, gradually fade away, so now he has come out with what's left at the bottom of the cesspool, filth, that can be twisted and falsified, to distract the American people from the real issues. Here we are in one of the biggest financial messes, and then comes this typical, rethuglican, tactic....say anything, make up anything, to win. McCain is a pathetic, old man, who has broken his word many times, and has stooped to negative politics.

The other 4 Senators in the Keating scandal were all Democrats. Exactly how was this a political witch hunt?

Let's ask Pastor Muthee. He knows all about witch hunts. I'm sure he will be glad to give his professional opinion if you make a donation to Sarah's church.

This latest twist in the narrative of John McCain's political career as "Maverick" is truly telling. It explains his campaigns bizarre, thoughtless and erratic behavior these past two weeks as the economy circles the drain.

John really thinks like a 4 year old! When a small child says, despite obvious overwhelming evidence that they broke the lamp, that "my friend did it, not me" we know as adults that the child truly BELIEVES it at that moment. That behavior is perfectly appropriate for a child of 4.

John is 72. It seems whatever comes out of John's mouth at any given moment is what HE BELIEVES is the truth and WE are supposed to believe it, too. Because he said so. Despite obvious overwhelming evidence.

    Think about it.

So McCain says he is a Maverick, but the truth of the matter is that he votes with the Republican Neocon herd nearly all the time. And McCain says he is a reformer, but his supposed campaign finance law gave us 527s that spew more filth than before and he broke his own law several times. Plus he wrote in an exemption for family airplanes, like his wife's jet.

So McCain is neither a reformer, nor a maverick, he is just a prick!
