AMERICAblog: McCain keeps pushing the lies

  • Bostonian_Queer_in_Dallas · 1 year ago
Who the fuck will care if McSame and Missy Moosekill are lying???? Just look at her fabulous eyewear!!!!
  • Sage24 · 1 year ago
Don't forget they are trying hard to distract the people from the fact that she, the pitbull, lied about that damn bridge to nowhere....so the best thing for them to do is, pounce on something innocent, and feign outrage. This is typical Rovian politics, and Keith O was right, Rove is very much involved in McCain's campaign (so much for change eh?), and it seems neither the media, nor the people, notice, that McCain is not talking issues, or answering the questions about why he wants to keep following Bush's failed policies.

The question is how can anyone win over the politics of slime and lies?

The rethuglicans makes a poisonous snake look like a saint.
  • aquarius2 · 1 year ago
I really think a good ad would be something along the lines that McCain is hiding behind his VP and incorporating the clips where he is just standing there over and over letting Palin do the dirty work.
  • tjlabs · 1 year ago
And what makes you think this or an other substantive subject or issue is going to gain traction with the voters. The Rovians have set the agenda and have set the rules of the game. Shorter version..."When in doubt, shout".

Maverick McCain, like all other Repugs, has only lies to offer but no solutions. Isn't Bush's policy based onl lies only? That's the Republican way.
  • Sage24 · 1 year ago
This is interesting although tabloid news. So much for family values eh?

How will Palin take care of her out of control brood, and an almost 24 hour job?
This is one job that is unique, and cannot be compared to any other job a woman does.

My partner lived in Alaska for fifteen years and he's been emailing his old buddies up there to try to find out more about Missy Moosekill. None of these things can be officially corroborated, unfortunately, but they are very damning, nonetheless...

Apparently she was quite the bully as PTA mom in Wasilla. Was a malicious gossip about moderate women and dads on the PTA who did not see her jesus vision of where that town should head. Told lots of nasty lies about people who tried to block her book banning, wingnuttery policies on sex education, etc. My partner's good friend said that Missy Moosekill can be quite a bitch.

We will begin a new blog with this shit once we have enough to publish. Senator Biden's people should be doing some nice research on her.

Oh but she wears fabu eyewear!!!!
  • tlsintx · 1 year ago
    $375.00 frames...! yay earmarks...
  • Bostonian_Queer_in_Dallas · 1 year ago
Well she got really ripped off. They are hideous and she could have had much
prettier frames for much less. Then again a Moose has very little good
    taste.
  • Mark in Florida · 1 year ago
She comes off as bitchy to most woman. She has gotten a bump in polls only becuase men have fantasies about her taking her glasses off and her hair pin and sleeping with them.

At least the women I talk to can't stand her. She comes off as the fake prom queen.
  • Bostonian_Queer_in_Dallas · 1 year ago
I am just itching to see Biden rip her open in a debate. This girl is way
outta her league here. Joe Biden is a seasoned politico with skills and some
very good ideas, although he can be verbose and circumloquacious at times. I
am hoping they are working with him to cut it short and hit the punch
quickly. I've always liked Joe Biden. Hopefully the white trash who love
Missy Moosekill will actually watch the debates. I've a feeling Missy
Moosekill also has a temper not unlike her Daddy McSame. But who knows...the
white trash generally only decide based on TV lies anyway.

Oxycontin: the right-wing trogs' drug of choice. It's available by prescription, not like those nasty ghetto drugs.
  • Mark in Florida · 1 year ago
I saw that. Hey, after all Wassila is the Meth capitol of the northwest!! When Palin entered office there were 6 meth labs in the Wassila market/region. Now there are some 44 meth labs. Now that's change you can count on!!!

I wondered why she hides her buggie eyes behind those glasses.
  • KarenMrsLloydRichards · 1 year ago
So that's why Track Palin had that dead-eyed look on his face when he was paraded before the convention. Probably into meth, too. Bush's quasivolunteer Army: junkies and felons on moral waivers.

    Warned by the Court

A judge repeatedly told Palin and family not to badmouth her sister's ex

An Anchorage judge three years ago warned Sarah Palin and members of her family to stop "disparaging" the reputation of Alaska State Trooper Michael Wooten, who at the time was undergoing a bitter separation and divorce from Palin's sister Molly.

Just like a courtroom. The lawyer who is the best liar wins the case.

    Same with elections now.
  • tlsintx · 1 year ago
meanwhile, all the good ol boys down in Georgia are slingin' the "uppity" epithet like there's no tomorrow.

somebody needs to call that shit out and don't let them get off by saying they never knew it was as bad as the N word.
  • KarenMrsLloydRichards · 1 year ago
    The new GOP hypocrites' lexicon:

Uppity: never a racist word. Applies to anybody who is pretentious.

Lipstick on a pig: always a sexist phrase. Applies only to hockey moms who dare to break the glass ceiling.
  • Sage24 · 1 year ago
America has really dumbed down eh?

Elections are not won on real issue, or what the candidate hopes to do to help the people. It is about slime, feigned outrage, attacks, and turning the weak minds of the American people into the gutter.
  • aquarius2 · 1 year ago
Negative has always won over truth and reason. Kerry, Dukakis, look what happened to them when the Republican slime machine took over.

i'm gonna have to say thanks but no thanks to that lying old coot and his lying sidekick, dontcha know?
  • Steve_in_CNJ · 1 year ago
that phrase is going to end up in an obama commercial. mccain went all in with palin. obama and biden just need to call his bluff.

    Yeah Someday.
  • FightForJustice · 1 year ago
I have been sending Obama $50 a month. My times are hard and money is beyond tight...it is scary...but for whatever reason this article finally pushed me to the tipping point and I donated an extra $100 dollars. I am so sick of the media's lipstick gate wall to wall coverage (without ever bothering to mention that McCain said the exact same thing about Hillary's healthcare bill) AND SO BEYOND TIRED OF OBAMA'S WEAK INEFFECTIVE ADVERTISING (and yes I'm yelling) which is ineffective on soundbite and message delivery--and I have worked in media for 25 years and I know what is and isn't effective message delivery, and these soft ads of his wouldn't fly for most ad agencies selling a local pub ...but in the end, I want to fight with whatever I've got...and today I just put $100 on the credit card.

Forget God Bless America. If there is a God...God Help America.
  • aquarius2 · 1 year ago
Is there ANY doubt that Karl Rove is running the McCain campaign. LIes, smoke screens, and more lies.
  • Sage24 · 1 year ago
No doubt. The slime, the attacks, the lies, the feigned outrage, it all stinks of Rove. This also shows what kind of person McCain is. To win the election, he has embraced the very people who put HIM through this garbage, although they attacked his family. Now a real man would have had nothing to do with them, when his family has been attacked. McCain has no shame.
He is trying to distract the people with gutter politics, and the fact that he is not talking about the issues, and the fact that his VP was caught lying very badly. See, today they are talking about lipstick instead of unemployment.
  • marijo · 1 year ago
I couldn't agree more, and how sad for a man who really once was a maverick to find himself becoming the very thing he used to despise? No wonder he looks older and more frail by the day, this must be eating him up inside.
  • Mark in Florida · 1 year ago
The neocons have mastered 'truthiness'. ie: If you repeat a lie enough, it becomes, true, or partially true. They told Palinbot to just keep repeating her same stump speech hoping it will stick with the average low information constituant that is the middle ten percent swing voter.

Once Palinbot get's back from her 'undisclosed location' she will have to face reporters, or people will simply turn off to her. I am extremely confident that Joe Biden will make short work of Palin especially on foriegn policy. Considering the fact that Palin only recieved her first passport six months ago.

I live in Florida, so that does not make me an expert on Cuba. But Palin did sleep at a Holiday Inn once, so perhaps she really is a super genius. I think not.

Keep the faith people, Palin will implode, and she will pull McSame down with her. All in good time, all in good time. :-)
  • aquarius2 · 1 year ago
I disagree, I don't think Palin will implode. She will continue to dominate the news, if for no other reason that she is news. There are only 8 weeks left in this election cycle and UNLESS Obama can change this discussion back to ISSUES Palin will continue to be the story.
  • Mark in Florida · 1 year ago
We will have to agree to disagree my friend. :-) I really believe at some point soon, if she does not pony up on content and answers, people will reject her.

In the mean time everyone, Enjoy this video. It is likely that Palin will actually be president based on McSame's age and health issues. Here is who will be in charge of the red button:

...and please, pass it on to everyone you know. Palin must be stopped.

  • Rab · 1 year ago
I agree, without her providing substance (interviews) the sheep will see the light. This is about the economy and McCain and Palin offer nothing but more of the same. landslide Obama/Biden '08
  • marijo · 1 year ago
The media are finally starting to look beyond the action -figure empty celebrity that the Republicans have trotted out to muddy the waters. Funny how Obama can be nothing but a "celebrity" after giving several policy and position speeches all over Europe, and having the media and the right wing dissect every aspect of his whole life before, during and after the nomination process;who has given a very explicit outlining of his agenda during his acceptance speech, but this jane-come-lately who has been on the scene for less than 2 months, who has yet to give any speech other that repeating her convention screed and who now has an ACTION FIGURE is being portrayed as the real deal? Let's give the media who are doing their job the ratings and positive feedback that will allow them to continue. Obama will continue to press his message, and now it's time for Biden, Clinton and all the other Democratic leaders to step forward and proclaim that the emperor's ticket mate has no clothes either...
  • drummerdude · 1 year ago
I totally agree with you, why are they lying in the weeds? David Plouffe, David Axelrod and Robert Gibbs, are you reading the blogs??????
  • BLOGGING BITCH! · 1 year ago
I thought most of the elderly people were for McCain. You mean to tell me that none of them have ever heard the "lipstick on a pig" reference?

Isn't McCain calling Obama a pedophile? Does Obama intend to bring up Foley?

I'm supposed to work a phone bank for Obama tomorrow. I'll work as hard as he is.
  • Mark in Florida · 1 year ago
Good for you. Keep up the good fight. Thank you!
  • drummerdude · 1 year ago
This is what I am afraid of. Supporters are feeling as though he's not hitting back (sound like Kerry?). Everyone who feels this way better voice their opinions to his campaign. I did, and I convinced a slew of my friends to do so as well. It WILL get their attention.
  • BLOGGING BITCH! · 1 year ago
If Palin is offended by the lipstick comment, can't she bill Alaska for the pain and suffering?
  • kevinbgoode · 1 year ago
It's time to finally ask. . "why do Republicans hate America?"
  • BLOGGING BITCH! · 1 year ago
Speaking of lipstick, why did Todd's "Business Partner" get a divorce?
  • JohnInTexas · 1 year ago
Because his wife caught him with Palins lipstick on his willie and didn't like him having pig sex.
  • DeppFan · 1 year ago
    This is sick:
The Lie: McCain released a new ad that suggests Obama favors teaching sex education to kindergartners.

The Truth: the legislation Obama supported provided information to children on what to watch for when with an adult they don't know, such as inappropriate advances or touching.

To be fair, without lies, what would hold the Republican party together?
  • zadura · 1 year ago
I am going to lay this bare. Alaska is a poor, sparsely populated state. The number of people who drive on any road, whether a bridge to nowhere or a major highway in Anchorage, is going to be exceedingly small and therefore the tax base that supports those expensive roads will be too small to justify their construction. Furthermore, Alaskan roads are also subject to massive temperature fluctuation making them more susceptible to repair. Having said that, Alaskan's per capita share of Federal Highway tax dollars will be very, very high. If I was a citizen of Alaska right now, I would be asking myself why my governor, is causing a shitstorm in the lower 48 about Alaska's share of Federal tax spending. This is only going to add to the scrutiny of the state, which cannot turn out well. We should have surrogates up there right now talking about the dangers of Palin to Alaska once this Presidential election is over. Time to hit them where it hurts.
  • MnDem · 1 year ago
There is no civil discourse in this country anymore, and you can't argue issues with these people. They believe what they want to believe
I'm reminded of Einstein's definition of insanity:
"Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."

When they try to talk you into voting for McCain, just shrug your shoulders and say, "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me a third time, well....who's to blame then?"
  • Mark in Florida · 1 year ago
Remember the prolific words of a one GW Bush: "You can't fool the fooler....."
  • MnDem · 1 year ago
The people voting for McCain today will be the same ones a year from now sitting in the break room (if they still have a job) complaining about having to work 80 hours a week, not getting a raise, and gas being $8.00 a gallon.

Lotta hate in this country right now. State Democratic party leader shot and killed; gunman going into a church and killing people because the church was "liberal". Not much difference between Germany in the 1930's and the US now, except now we're in the nuclear age. In the immortal words of Sinclair Lewis: "When fascism comes to America, it will be wrapped in the flag and carrying a cross."

It is time to stop referring to McCain and Palin as liars and ABOUT TIME to match pitch and win what should be an easy election.

He is a forgetful, senile old man who has cancer. He likely won't survive his term.

He will be replaced by an idiot beauty queen with a history of marital affairs, criminal activity, and children out of wedlock.

The accuracy of this is not as important as getting the message through the thick skulls of the electorate.

If we are not willing to do this, we will content ourselves with only one branch of the government in 2009.
  • tlsintx · 1 year ago
warning, this link takes you to McCain's website...
here's their bullshit web ad saying that Obama calls Palin a pig:
this needs to be directly addressed and called out as a lie.

I just saw Obama address this issue at an education conference. He was brilliant and totally difused this manufactuered outrage.

Obama up in gallup today, one point. I guess McGrumpy's bounce is losing it's air time.

According to a segment I saw last night on Anderson Cooper 360 with Fact Checker Dot com, no one really is effected by these appalling series of lies except the liberal bloggers. Those who are supporting her are not the least bit effected by this pathological lying.

Chancing the possibility of being labled a "sexist", as a 58 year old man, I've always relished the "differences" between men and women. As much as women have tried to level the playing field(s), there's one aspect that has always attracted me more than any other female trait. That one aspect is compassion. Compassion for babies, small animals and the people they love. As I witness more and more women becoming involved in politics, there seems to be a division in that compassion. While women politicians involved in the Democratic party seem to continue to demonstrate their compassion for others, the ones involved with the Republican party seem to demonstrate their compassion for themselves. In other words, they divert all their time and resources trying to be like the Republican men and forget about anyone else.
Now, I'm not saying that all women registered as Republicans are like this, just the one's that are running for some office.

As we approach the election over the next 50 some odd days, I believe that Miss Sarah's compassion for herself will take its toll on their campaign. Her overbearing attitude and racist remarks will come out and hopefully, the American people will see her for what she really is... A George Bush wanna be.
