AMERICAblog: McCain on ABC: I never said nothing about no timetable. (Even though he said it the day before)

McCain (the catchphrase of his entire political career): "Are you going to believe me, the war hee-ro with an epic degree of personal integrity shaped by the Naval Academy and VietNam, or your own lying ears, ya little jerk?"

Stephanie assumes the posture of the timid little freshman at the Naval Academy (called a "Plebe") who is terrified of getting hazed by the company bully, who gets off intimidating the quivering Frosh with a strongly-hinted assbeating.

No he is not for real. He is a delusional, cranky, desperate old man, and he will say anything to win. He has started Rovian attacks on Obama, and it looks like some idiots are buying it, once again, because according to the polls, Obama has lost ground in some states. Some Americans are unable to comprehend, just what is at stake in these elections. They show that they cannot learn from their mistakes. They seem to want to continue Bush failed policies.

Seriously, I predict a meltdown of massive proportions for McBush...and he wants to "debate" Obama at town hall meetings, which are nothing more than ramblings and digressions geared to popularity contests? Wait until the 3 major debates--I can hardly contain myself thinking of them.

I hope Obama holds out for real debates, not those phony town hall meeting things and certainly not those charades where Charlie Gibson or one of the other Talking Heads inject themselves into proceedings.
Have a real debate according to recognized debate rules.

Hate all these high gas prices, America? And you can't bring yourself to vote for the skinny black guy? So you're gonna continue with Bush 3? Well good for you! Now here is the question I have for you....how much money did Chevron and GM give the GOP and continue to give to McSame? Cuz y'all oughta read this quote about why we cannot buy electric cars yet. Cars that cost pennies a day to drive to your jobs. Idiot America! God Bless Idiot America! (this quote is stuff covered in the film "Who Killed the Electric Car?" "...GM and Chevron collaborated with Toyota-Panasonic in such a way that these batteries were killed, and no such NiMH batteries are available for EVs. Chevron, awash in oil profits, assets and cash reserves, claims that "it's a chicken and egg problem" of "no demand", but that does not explain why they sued Panasonic, extracting $30,000,000. Shortly thereafter, the EV-95 line of proven, NiMH batteries still running in the RAV4-EV was shut down and killed, and the batteries cannot be sold or imported into the USA, according to one Toyota spokesperson. Only a few used EV-95, salvaged from crushed vehicles, are available, and those only for warranty replacement on existing RAV4-EV. Toyota won't sell even these used batteries to EV converters, who need long-lasting, reliable batteries and can't get them. ..."

Flyover America: yes, we are spending more and more on gas to drive vaster distances from barely affordable exurbs to shit jobs that pay us less and less after inflation--but at least, praise BushCo, YOU can't get married, which would destroy the American Family and American Civilization As We Know It.

Just about sums it all up for me Karen! I am gay and have a biological child. I was married before I divorced and came out. Fortunately we broke up after our daughter was an adult (late teens). It was a friendly divorce. We did a very bad job of parenting. Magna Cum Laude grad of an Ivy League school; successful art dealer who has former Presidents and household celebs among her client list; fluent in several languages; a loving and thoughtful person; gives monies to charity; works anonymously in soup kitchens; a strong work ethic; never gave us any trouble as a teen and is in A TOTALLY MONOGAMOUS HETEROSEXUAL RELATIONSHIP. But because I am gay I totally sucked as a dad. I should NEVER be allowed to adopt a child. My track record is hideous.

I find it a bit precious that the well "educated" often do that--although I will cut some slack when it's obvious that for many, education ends at formal schooling. That's what's really troubling, whether well "educated" or a drop out. I'm sure it wasn't a Ph.D who noticed that when you stick your hand on a hot burner, well...

It's the education thing for many. But many got where they are through just certain connections that has nothing to do with intelligence or education, looks or whatever, and they believe by being there, and I get this from Andrea Mitchell especially, that they're somehow a rare bird compared to us. We don't matter. We're incidental. That's why they don't feel a need to tell the people what's going on. They don't give us a thought. They're little dramas with each other are what matter.

I'm starting to think that McShrub has early onset Alzheimers, too. I had been thinking it was kinda a mean put-down but it would explain his huge forgetfulness and temper. Had an older friend whose husband developed it and would get really frustrated from forgetting, he would hit her. Really sad. I do get that sense from him, especially by his herky jerky physical movements.

Well, not early onset. You get that maybe in your 40s. This is just old age version of it.

I honestly think McCain forgets. I mean, I wouldn't put it past him to be a liar, but I think he forgets these little things called details. He knows what he thinks, but he forgets what he says. Of course, a 72 year old presidential candidate who forgets yesterday is actually a lot worse than a guy who just blatently lies about it. We need a president who actually has control of his faculties.

The interview with Georgie Porgie was disgusting. I turned the channel when George started helping McCriminal answer the questions and clear up his errors. I go see my uncle Herb occasionally, he is 87, acts like McCain and gets a woody when the nurse changes his depends. Good lord have we now started to consider electing people with no cognitive ability and who possess the attention span of a house fly, though at least the house fly can find its way back to the shit pile it found yesterday.

Why wouldn't the repugs start working on shutting up this disaster and start prepping for the next election. They can smell shit and McCrazy is blowing their chances for the entire election. Can McCrazy get his teeth whitened anytime soon? His Cougar would pay for it, c'mon Gramps, get them teeth whitened or quit grinning.

In an interview with Wolf Blitzer of CNN on July 25, McCain "guaranteed" that when under his stewardship US withdraws from Iraq, conditions will be such that US will not have to return. He said this with reference to Obama's vote against "surge", stating that if the US did not send the "surge" of troops, Iraq would fall under Iran influence.
My question to Sen. McCain is that in a stable democratic Iraq, which has over 60% Shia muslims, how can US prevent Iran (with over 90% Shia population") from influencing Iraq policy? Saddam the tyrant was a US friend (enemy of the enemy - Iran) and with his demise, the US has delivered the golden goose of Iraq to the Iranian hands. Iran wil influence Iraq, if not today, no too distant a future from now!
