Obama admin's OPM, headed by a gay man, reportedly blocks lesbian from getting health benefits
A real testament to excessive wealth when one can't remember just how many house one own... besides that a pile of crap, I sure he knows the real number! It's not like he's a landlord or anything like that or is he?
good that the politico guys brought it up again...now let's spread it around.
They'd just have a montage of the McCains and their staff guessing how many homes they have, then have a voiceover saying something like "how can these people know about the problems of working Americans......" (only saying it more artfully).
It can be done. The question is whether the Dems will do it.
His Gramm-Leach-Bliley bill repealed the depression-era Glass-Steagall bill, which kept commercial and investment banks separate.
I don't know why the Dems don't go after that too, except that Bill Clinton signed the damn thing.
Just remember we still have this to look forward to at the GOP convention. Bushie trying to collect a few more bucks under his g-string.

1) He's not one of us. He has 18 houses and thinks you need to make $5 million to be considered rich. This should be played at the top of the hour, every hour until November.
2) He doesn't have the temperament to be president; he'll lead us straight into World War III.
3) He's George Bush. He'll send every nickel to Iraq instead of back in your pocket where it should be.
Simple. Direct. To the point.
If they call that an attack ad, yeah well it's their own guy doing the attacking.
And for once in his life, Dobson got it right.
i am now officially hoping mccain wins the presidency and destroys what's left of this cancer ridden country.
before we can rebuild we have to tear it all down.

John, I want to hear more about this. How did the DEM party kill the independent groups...
This made me laugh.
The "look" of our national places has long been a concern but, in my opinion, this stylistic appearance has, like so much else, reached critical mass during the Decider's 8-year failure.
The White House when viewed as a backdrop for speeches and pressers has a high-traffic motel room feel...plastic on the floor, mantles overrun with that looks like kudzu and lamps that appear bolted to tables empty of knick or knack.
Also, two or three weeks ago Bush spoke from a White House portico and I was shocked to observe broken and damaged floor tiles under the Decider's little feet.
And all this without even getting to the original impetus for the national stage set decorative bug up my ass...I have a real fondness for American pottery and I know the Smithsonian has many examples but the only ceramic art I ever notice at the White House or the Capitol are Asian and European porcelains...Maybe too refined a point for boors who can't even repair historic flooring.
Cerebral arguments will not work. The ads must play on an emotional an guttural level. Take that maverick image and turn it into a loose cannon image. Take his answers on the forum last Saturday and juxtaposition his past statements, to show that he his snappy answers was nothing more than pandering to the base. Take his statements on how quickly Iraq would be won and openly and directly question his judgement.
It needs to be done in concerted fashion. Each ad should build on the previous one. Draw in the viewer. The attack ads that the Obama camp run are the typical take the opponent's record and play up the negatives. It's a nice start, but it's not entertaining nor does it speak at the gut level.
McCain will never say anything except he takes full responsibility. He just laughs as if to say...you know how it is, man!
It even shows poor Carol McCain limping out to the mailbox to check for letters from her asshole husband.

Show rapid clips of those people laughing and saying "One". Along with some other
off the cuff comments. Then put the mccain statement at the end. The ad writes itself.
Hey guys, (and girls) Two new anti MCGOO ads out yesterday playing local and hitting hard on Abramhoff and Nuclear waste. Check it out. The sleeping giant is stirring.
It certainly goes against the fantasy that he's decisive, that he's a straight talker, that he's an independent leader -- a maverick.
(And let's be clear -- John McCain hasn't refused to talk openly and spontaneously with reporters these days because he petulantly feels as though they aren't doing their jobs responsibly, as he tries to insinuate. Rather, it's because he can't overcome foot-in-mouth disease and does his campaign more harm than good when he speaks off-the-cuff.)
I'd love to see an ad that montages all McCain's safe and measured responses to even the most basic questions:
"I'll get back to you on that...."
"I think...."
"I'll have my staff get back to you on that..."
"They'll get back to you...."
The ad should ask: "If John McCain can't answer questions such as these, how will he make quick, bold decisions as president?" The closer? John McCain saying, "I'll have my staff get back to you on that."
he even LOOKS like McGOO

It is unfoturnate that we have to get the truth from other countries rather than our Republican-owned main stream media -- which is a derelict of duty to the American public. They failed us after 911 and they are still failing us now. Thank God we have the Internet and Blogs wherein we can find the truth.
