AMERICAblog: McCain says he knows how to capture bin Laden. Okay, great. How?

OK, I understand it is time for the Texas State Fair. Go OU. In light of my experience on the Midway, I need to know how many tickets this answer will cost. If too many I will opt to see horse woman and/or the fat man.

tb; you a Longhorn traitor? You want our young criminals to win??

Better young criminals than old criminals.

Like the Dos Equis guy, when I watch footbal I prefer OU and TTech. I have no problem with Texas winning, except when playing the above.

Unlike the Dos Equis guy, I am not that interesting.

Like the Dos Equis guy, when i drink beer I prefer Dos Equis, like now.

So how does John McCain, with his scant dozen hours of combat experience. . .the high point of which was being shot down and made a POW, know how to win wars? Do POWs win wars?

    BREAKING NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Candidate John McCain has just run an ad that is truthful. Many have speculated that his ads are misleading at best, and outright lies at worst. His latest advertisement should put these claims to rest. The truth is there for everyone to see at the start of the ad, when the candidate himself says "I'm John McCain and I approve this message". This should end the vicious rumors, as it has been confirmed that this is indeed John McCain's voice. Moreover, Federal election campaign laws, (which John McCain was instrumental in authoring) require a candidate to state that he or she (I don't want to be sexist here and incur the wrath of the McCain campaign) does approve of an advertisement for a Federal elected office. There are other sources who say, off the record, that this particular level of "truthiness" (thank you Steven Colbert) can be seen in other John McCain ads, though this has not been confirmed. Stay tuned for further developments.

I wish the Dems would pound this more.

Osama bin Laden is still at large...on the Afghan/Pakistan border...and regrouping...
and Republicans are selling that we are safer with them in charge?!?!!

McCain couldn't divulge the secret before; because it was Sarah, see? Sarah's going to hunt down Osama with her moose rifle while McCain is cutting off pork...
  • tbhull · 1 year ago
    Or pulling his pork.

McCain's going to parachute Cindy down in front of Bin Laden's cave and have her shimmy seductively.

Then, when Bin Laden comes out, he'll drop a 10,000-pound weight on Bin Laden's head.

McCain thought it up all by himself.

    Ooooops!
Keith and the Dems have fallen for Karl Rove's bait that he has had McCain dangle for several months.

Osama Bin Laden has been sitting in a prison cell for several years, waiting for the right time to be pulled out as the real October surprise and nail down an overwhelming Republican election victory.

Barack Obama has the opportunity to pre-empt this trick by announcing at the debates that "some say" that Bin Laden is in captivity for years to be used for cheap political gain.
But is Barack gutsy enough to actually say it?
  • grandma · 1 year ago
    Seems I've heard that before.....
    like before the '04 election.

It's a great night! On top of Keith's brilliant observation, "Obama's Challenge" author Robert Kuchner just called Hannity an ignorant fool to his face on air! Now that's what I call progress!

And if "12 Homes McCain" dies, I guess he will have passed his secret on to Sarah the Book Burner. She will have` to take a break from burning manuscripts at the Library of Congress to go flush out Osama.

Nice of them to use this alleged knowledge for political gain.

Sarah Palin should be a character on Logo network's hilarious new sitcom "Sordid Lives." She'd fit right in. It's all about white trash. They all look just like her.
  • devlzadvocate · 1 year ago
Agree about Sordid Lives, the movie and the series.

The Palins are like the "Osbornes" without any musical talent.
Wait till you see the enquirer story tomorrow. It's a doozey.

His entire statement is just strange. He knows wars? He knows how to win wars? What wars did he fight since Vietnam? We didn't win that one. And he spent that time as a POW (yeah, I know don't yell at me - I'm just sayin') Am I missing a decade or so of time or is he making shit up?

He knows the area? Yeah, he drove through there last weekend on his way home from Alaska. WTF? He knows the area? Sure, there's a 7-11 on the corner.

Why hasn't Olbermann commented on Mai Van On?
Who was the real nero in Vietnam?

I can't help thinking of Nixon's "secret" plan to end the Vietnam War.

    That one didn't exist either.
  • canuck55 · 1 year ago
Wow. Another spot on passionate soecial comment from Keith. A clarion call to the American people to rise up against this Republican terrorism.
