I still would like to know where little Trog is. A 6-month old kid should not be away from his mom this much at that age, or does she keep him in a little suitcase like ventriloquists do their props and just haul him around with her luggage.

That strategist wouldn't happen to be senior McCain economic adviser Kevin Hassett, would it?
"If we keep talking about the economic crisis, we're going to lose."
I've got news for this insulated, elitist jerk...this is not a conversation like who got voted off Dancing With The Stars last night that can just be flipped with an overwhelming push to dominate the media to suddenly focus on smears and BS. We Americans are out here living this nightmare, not just talking about it. From my 72 year old Dad who is watching his retirement account go poof, to my husband and I who are both self-employed and watching our business activity cut in half in the past year, while our self paid for insurance goes up to 10 to 15 percent a year, to my recently college graduate daughter who can't find higher than a $10 an hour job. These guys and gals just don't seem to get this isn't a conversation, this is millions of people who are being finanically wrecked, if not destroyed, by this economic collapse.

Thank you. We may all be living under the same roof in the next few months, fortunately we are all laid back and love each other. My husband and I have no debt except for our mortgage, which we've had for 12 years, so we're not upside down on that. To be honest it is the healthcare for all four us that concerns me the most. Our health insurance costs are 20 percent of my husband and my monthly bills. It will be the next thing to go if something has to be cut, because there is just nowhere else to go.

and all this chaos is just the credit crisis..never mind the real economic crisis: the us sheeple just aint got no mo money to spend, and now their ability to jack up their debt is drying up...so..economy is crashing. we dont export jack anymore. and workin at mcd's and walmart dont give folk enough to be spending money. so we are heading into a real ressesion / depression on top of the credit crisis. ya..supply side economics ..aint it grand. we supplied the wealthy with more..and all they did was stash it bahama or swiss accounts..or invest in manufacturing in china and mexico.. so... and on top of all that, prepare for hyper inflation..cause all this bailin' will turn the dollar even more worthless

Noonan’s message to Palin: "Our country is facing huge challenges. Suck it up and be serious. And don’t be doing this cute colloquial stuff. It doesn’t sit right with me. And it doesn’t seem fitting....."
And the markets across the world are sending a strong and clear message: they have no confidence in a 72 year-old pre-Alzheimer's rageaholic who says he doesn't know shit about the economy and a vapid, anti-Semitic hausfrau who wants to succeed him.

"...........The campaigns themselves can't afford to believe it. Many journalists know it but can't say it. And there will certainly be some twists and turns along the way. But take it to a well capitalized bank: Bill Ayers isn't going to save John McCain. The race is over.
John McCain's candidacy is as much a casualty of Wall Street as Lehman or Merrill. Like those once vibrant institutions, McCain's collapse was stunning and quick....."
Sounds like a lot of people are doing more than talking about it. They are living it.

It seems that all we have left to worry about is the Bradley effect.

i'd like to talk about the fact that i just got my 401k statement and it's down by almost 50%... and I am fucking pissed that bushco/mccain caused this and now we get to give them 700 billion to "rescue" all of us. right.
You know, the guy who wrote this book?
Now, there's someone you can believe!
(I love the stuff but I just can't afford to buy it anymore)
