Not just a fossil but a pitifully slapstick fossil...

All the Obama campaign need do is edit old tapes with newer ones showing Sprained Brain McCain debating himself, then Obama approving the message.

I like how the article right from the start tells you that John McCain is not telling the truth:"
" "Back in 2006, John McCain lashed out at the Army, for its wasteful, bloated Future Combat Systems modernization program. Earlier today, it appears the Republican presidential nominee may have gone after his Democratic rival -- for opposing the very same program."
I wish MORE people would write articles that way. It's easier for me to remember the story......and/or for an undecided voter to be better informed.
McCain can say what he wants. Who is going to call him on it? He and Palin can lie through their teeth, and MSM does nothing. The masses eat it up like butterscotch pudding. It's left to individual blogs to find the truth, and once found, no one picks it up and goes with it. I really don't know what can be done.

If Obama would call him on the lies and provide documentation we would see a vast change in the race. But if Obama continues to "Take the High Road" McShame will continue to benefit from his lies. Allowing repug lies to go unchallenged is hardly a change we can believe in. Cleaning a stable is not possible without getting your hands dirty.

"You may fool all the people some of the time; you can even fool some of the people all the time; but you can’t fool all of the people all the time." - Abraham Lincoln
McCain is counting on that group of people that "you can fool some of the time" to pull him through this election. I just hope that the 50 some odd days is enough time to change their minds about McCain.

someone with access to the campaign...please tell them an ad basically saying "maybe sen. mccain can no longer keep his positions or votes straight. that's not change, that's just forgetting." hit him on the age, not in great shape to be prez, esp with a nobody as vp.

OT
Speaking of attacks, I am speechless over the McCain attack ad that just ran on NBC in Denver. It is very similar to one before BUT it has been amended right after showing old Dems it says " Obama, MORE OF THE SAME"
So what is the strategy going on here? McCain shamelessly has adopted the use of the word CHANGE, the word Obama has said for 19 months. Now here is an ad that has been amended to include the use of the "more of the same" slogan/
If I didn't know any better, I say McCain is using the old Harry Truman quote that went something like " If you can't fight 'em, confuse the hell out of them". There is no other explanation other than the McCain campaign is trying to muddy the waters by adopting Obama's speaking points.
Obama is right, F**king McCain has NOTHING to say, all he can do is lie and attack. You know what, negative works and it is scary, as hell..

Obama needs to come to terms with the fact that he will gather few believers between now and election day, from here on out it is a contest between who people will vote against. Racists already will vote against Obama that want change, but if McShame is allowed to pour hugh amounts of unanswered attacks on Obama many more people will be swayed. The debates will decide some but most truly uncommitted will be more influenced by ads. I am as interested in change as anybody, but I believe you have to win the power if you expect to change anything.
