AMERICAblog: McCain told numerous witnesses he didn't vote for Bush in 2000

Didn't McCain deny this allegation, said "consider the source" referring to Ariana? So now he's caught not just voting for Gore, but then lying about it. This story should dwarf the Wright controversy in the media.

The main stream media will quietly kill this story just as they have with any other story that portrays McCain negatively. The geezer doesn't understand the dynamics of Iraq politics and confuses Sunnis, Shiites, and Kurds but the MSM still portrays this guy as a leading expert on foreign relations.

Anyone who would be offended by his not voting Bush wouldn't switch to the Democrat side so I don't see how it will hurt him with them.

1billinnj2: no one is calling them the "main street media" except you. The phrase is "mainstream media," which reflects that they are controlled by, yes, the 5 corporations or so who own those media outlets from which the vast majority of Americans receive their news.

That's all well and good but who will McCain vote for this November?

"nothing to see here move along"-McCain water carrier Jack Kemp
Frankly, I don't give a shit who McCrazy voted for. I do care, however, about what Cindy McCrazy is getting away with. She even stated that poor John was a skinflint, learned from his days as the son of an underpaid admiral or in her view, a poor hardscrabble military life with a father who was in the elite ranks of the Navy and a mother who was an oil heiress. It's obvious both of them think everyone in this country enjoys the privilege they have. I guess we're just all "poor millionaires who just don't know how to be thrifty."
Cheeez.

From the North Carolina Democratic Party:
The Democratic Surge
North Carolina saw a record-breaking turnout with nearly 1.6 million voters coming out for Democrats.
In more than 30 counties, turnout exceeded 40 percent of registered Democrats. Early and absentee votes accounted for 500,000 of those votes, which was more than six times the number of early and absentee voting in 2006 and more than half the total votes in the primary in 2004.
More than a half-million voters have participated in early voting. More than 80 percent of them chose to participate in the Democratic rather than Republican primary. Forty-percent of the early voters were African-American.

Here is another story you won't hear on the nightly news. While McCain was a guest of the VC his wife was seriously injured in an auto wreck. When our hero got back he saw his wife was four inches shorter and no longer the attractive woman he married so he dropped her like a hot rock. While still married he hooked up with the post teenage beer baroness and didn't look back. If Obama did this it would be the lead story all over the news 24/7 till November. That would make the Rev Wright story disappear like Rev John Hagee.

Who McCain voted for 8 years ago isn't as important as McCain/Bush getting rid of the FEC head that wanted to hold McCain responsible for breaking campaign finance rules. This story was mentioned here and a few other places but didn't really get the media attention it should have. Talk about corrupt, and I don't believe for one second that McCain wasn't behind this.

Peggy Noonan is actually RIGHT! Dear God!
Paul Begala is being an asshole and he needs to be crushed. Howard Dean needs to tell the Clinton's that their party is OVER and it is time to close ranks behind Obama. PERIOD. And he needs to MAKE the Clintons listen and TAKE HEED. He needs to threaten to get her removed from her Senate seat so she will have to go back to baking cookies while dodging bullets in Croatia and listening to Tammy Wynette.

I'd rather take a pragmatic stance on this one. More than one person can lie ya know. Remember the Swift Boaters. Not saying this is the same thing, just pointing out more sources should be utilized before confirming a stance.

The fact that McCain did not vote for Bush is not going to hurt McCain with conservitives, or republicans. John McCain is hurting himself with Conservitives and Republicans. Take it form somebody who is both and would not vote for McCain if I was paid. (And this form the guy who used to whore himself out to fat chicks for 100$ a night!)
not much, but some.
