AMERICAblog: McCain worried about the "situation on the Iraq/Pakistan border" (Note to McCain: There isn't one)

Holy crap. Iraq and Pakistan are at least 500 miles away. Please tell me someone in the media is going to pick up on this?

Oh dear. Another neocon running for office with an IQ of 4. What a great country this is! We keep electing chimpanzees. Just so long as I cannot get married. Everything is fine.

So, just to get this straight: 1 - McCain repeatedly said that Iran was helping Al Qaeda (completely wrong, Iran is Shiite, Al Qaeda is Sunni) 2 - McCain repeatedly referred to a country that hasn't existed since 1993 (Czechoslovakia) 3 - McCain is worried about the Iraq/Pakistan border (there is no Iraq/Pakistan border)
And we're supposed to trust him on foreign policy? I wouldn't trust him to mow my lawn without a color-coded map!

Let's be fair, now. I'm sure McCain meant to say he was concerned about the situation on the Czechoslovakia/Pakistan border. I would be too if one existed!

Once again, where are the democrats and Obama on this. The democrats - all of them - should be out on Tv and ask the American public if this is what they want in their President. An idiot that does not know what country borders what other countries. Specially when ther are wars going on. How stupid is the electorate? I guess a lot.

for fuck's sake! This guy as president will continue to make us a joke. Terrorists will feel really safe if he's president since McCain doesn't know where the fuck they are.

What it really says is that McCain is confused about the geography of that part of the world. These are not isolated gaffes any more. They're the result of a man who is thoroughly confused with the facts.
Sure, anyone of us here could mix things up in a normal conversation, but when you're running for president, it should never occur. It only takes a moment to get up to speed.
If he's not up to speed at this point---it's not going to happen.

Sunni-Shia Czechoslovakia Iraq/Pakistan border Iran training Al Qaeda
This man has little command of foreign policy, and poor judgment. What a joke.
We have just been through eight years of a moron in chief, do we really want four more years of this? Dear god. Anyone who votes McSame should have their head examined.
What stuns me is I was sitting around a table on Saturday night with some gay friends of mine and to my astonishment, two of them said, "oh I am just not sure about Obama"....it's a risk, I think I am voting for McCain"...." he seems to know a lot about foreign policy"....... Well by the end of the night my partner and I had them in the Obama camp after we explained to them how inept McCain really is and how the press gives him a pass. Never mind the gay issue, they said that really did not matter to them. NOT MATTER TO THEM? I am shocked at how even in our own gay community how much self loathing is out there to push aside being treated like a second class citizen like it's no big deal. My partner asked one of them if he was out at work, he said no. I guess we are so used to being treated like crap, we just ask for more of it.
We have much work to do. It's scary out there.

Olbermann will have something about this today. Dan Abrams will too, since The Verdict is basically just a re-run of Olbermann's show.

Poor Grampa McSame, the feebleness has taken hold and now his little mind is just about gone. If any one had any decency they would take him to one of his and Cougar's seven or eight homes, give him an Easter basket every morning and turn him loose.
It worked for Reagan, it just might work here as well.

McCain has been exhibiting a trend of increasingly serious cognitive dysfunction for months.

Actually the boarder he's talking about in Pakistan is over 1300 miles from the nearest piece of Iraqi territory.
It's the same mistake Bush made. We were attacked on 9/11 from Afghanistan, but we invaded Iraq, fully 1200 miles away from where Obama was hiding at the time, and then called that the central front in the war on terror.
I'm starting to wonder if the reason McCain got shot down was because he didn't know where he was at at the time.

Oh, never mind!

But you should still vote for him "Because I'm John F-ing McCain"
you know, he reminds me of my aunt's old scotty dog. He was elderly, about McCain's age in dog years. He was going blind and was mostly def and showed some signs of dementia. He became extremely flatulant in his old age. and now and then we'd be sitting around the living room and this old boy would let one rip....BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRTTTTTTTT. Now his hearing was in such bad shape that he didn't know it was him doing the farting. He would feel that viloent vibrating around his butt and jump up barking and bolt off to another room looking for the culprit.
Yep. Reminds me a lot of McCain.

How many "charming" senior moments must this man have before the media starts to take note of the fact that he is swiftly descending into total dementia?

I hope McCain worries about US issues, too.
I think he needs to be worried about the situation in the Canada/Mexico border, too.

But please tell himself that Canada and Mexico do not border. He may need to know that some day.

The media should be all over this, but they seem to be afraid to raise the "perennially confused" issue for fear they will be accused of age discrimination. The fact is we elected one President who knew nothing about how the world operates and we certainly don't need another.

Yes! And he has proof positive that Pakistani Jihadists are coming over that border to sell arms and explosives to the hundreds of thousands of Al Qaeda in Iraq terrorists who hate us for our freedom and want to bring us to our knees! Why, that genuine war hee-ro Bud Day said so!

These damn liberals who call themselves conservatives are so full of shit. The solution is to build a border fence between Iraq and Pakistan. Our nations noble and valiant mercenaries are over there busting their balls for us and what do we have them do, protect soldiers? We can spend billions of dollars on building that border fence instead of spending it on pinko issues like making sure our troops don't get electrocuted in the shower. God knows Halliburton and KBR need our support, and what better way than to give them enormous no-bid contracts to build a border fence? So what that there's no actual border there? Our valiant contractors can definitely find a way to make a border and do it anyway. Hell, they could turn all of Iran into a solid block of concrete, and that can be the border fence. After they bomb Iran, because that will solve all of the problems and will defeat al-Qaeda, which is gaining power with the support of the Iranians. You fucking commie pinko liberals don't like fences? Too bad. We do things the American way.
100 more years, suckers! At least we killed Saddam Hussein, who was responsible for 9/11. In 100 more years we should have found the WMD's.
