AMERICAblog: McCain's blogger: Our attack ad and message for the past 4 days has been false

  • Dave of the Jungle · 1 year ago
The goons manufactured quite a Catch-22 predicament for Obama, here.

Now look how they scramble to make it seem real and somehow honorable.
  • moreleesafer · 1 year ago
well, we see who is running the honorable and clean campaign here, don't we. I am proud that Obama is keeping it clean.
  • cowboyneok · 1 year ago
Remember folks! We've heard it over and over all over the mainstream media. "Obama is presumptuous."

PRESUMPTUOUS IS CODE FOR "UPPITY NIGGER"

The corporate traditional media is calling Obama an "uppity nigger!!!"

Remember, every time you hear an excessively paid corporate shill newsreader claim, "Obama is presumptuous." Just replace the word "presumptuous" with "a high steppin', uppity nigger" because that is EXACTLY what they are saying. Its outrageous.

My question is HOW MANY DAYS will it take before we call them on it enough that they knock it off, or are they that SHAMELESS? They need to cut it out. Its RACIST!
  • KarenMrsLloydRichards · 1 year ago
Joe "Dead Intern" Scarborough retorted this morning that good white dudes like him are being accused of being racist ANY time they criticize Obama, even if it's mild criticism. And that makes him unhappy and sarcastic. Because, he (like all the good white dudes like him) is NOT a racist. And nothing gets his dander up more than being thought of as a racist.
  • cowboyneok · 1 year ago
All the Ku Klux Klan members are also complaining of the same thing!

    He doth protest too much?
  • KarenMrsLloydRichards · 1 year ago
The well has been poisoned, regardless. The Obama campaign needs to hit back harder than it is doing so far. Where's the truthful ad detailing McCain's numerous votes against troop and vet benefits?
  • Õ¿Õ · 1 year ago
That's right, the lie is out there with the public. And don't expect for them "to have learned their lesson." This is classic Rove. Repeat a lie over and over and then admit "it wasn't entirely accurate" in a forum nobody pays any attention to.
  • cowboyneok · 1 year ago
AGREED! I'm a veteran, and the average American has NO CLUE how many times Republicans, including McCain, CONSISTENTLY voted AGAINST the troops and VETERANS, especially. They've done it OVER and OVER again. Hell, most disengaged veterans don't even realize it. The truth would set ALL OF US free!
  • Busboy · 1 year ago
Sounds to me like you just like to repeat the "N" word, ad nauseum, cowboy..... just sayin.....
  • tlsintx · 1 year ago
he's just sayin' what the GOPers insinuate.

why not put it out there for all the world to smell the stink?
  • Busboy · 1 year ago
I don't use that word, I raised my kids not to use the word; I think he relished overdoing it.
  • Rob Mule · 1 year ago
Bored with McCain's campaign and McCain exploding day after day?
    Yearning for fresh, new explosions???
How about this (via SpaceWeather.com) way cool 6MB mpeg of bursting solar plasma (5X bigger than Earth) from July 12-14 taken by NASA's STEREO-B spacecraft:

    truly awesome!
  • cowboyneok · 1 year ago
ouch - that looks like it HURTS!

That solar flare just caused another cancerous lesion on McCain!
  • Rob Mule · 1 year ago
    ROFLMAO!!!
  • Õ¿Õ · 1 year ago
They'll be lying about something else starting any second now.
  • cowboyneok · 1 year ago
Okay, I have another gripe about Andrea Mitchell, Campbell Brown and all the other corporate shills who are married to uber-Republicans. They ALWAYS completely identify who they are interviewing. In fact, Andrea Mitchell just interviewed Representative Jim Clyburn. She finished the interview with "Jim Clyburn, third ranking member of Democratic caucus, Democrat... yadda...yadda...yadda." She fails to mention WHO she is. Every interview should be followed with, "I'm Andrea Mitchell Greenspan and married to Alan Greenspan!"

Funny...Reminds me of Brit royalty. Total sticklers for protocol...great stories of high-ranking Duke & Duchess X bowing and scraping to higher ranked Princess and Lord X as one couple exits at 2+ in the AM with only a long-time servant or two observing.
Andrea certainly has Princess X's complexion, smoking habits and ego (why she doesn't ID her giganticness)...
  • tlsintx · 1 year ago
there's not a thing wrong with avoiding the appearance of impropriety, as Obama did in this case. it was the wise thing to do.
  • cowboyneok · 1 year ago
Oh what a CROCK! McCain is trying to say Obama launched the FIRST negative ad when HIS ad was in response to a NEGATIVE ATTACK by the RNC.

Another New York cop beating the crap out of a citizen.

    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/07/30/nypd-o...

The reason I include it is that it is part of the same culture which has taken over this country. You attack everything, beat people, taser them, abuse them, fire without cause. We are just a thin line from a completely police state.

    http://digbysblog.blogspot.com/2008/07/taser-at...

A Statesville man died after being shocked multiple times by Tasers at the Iredell County jail over the weekend, sources say.

Anthony Davidson, 29, was unresponsive when he was taken to Iredell Memorial Hospital Saturday afternoon. He was put on life support and died late Sunday night, police said.

His death is the second Taser-related death this year in the Charlotte area. In March, 17-year-old Darryl Wayne Turner, died after Charlotte-Mecklenburg police used a Taser on him at a Food Lion store in Charlotte.

The officers involved in Davidson's arrest – at least two from the Statesville Police Department – were put on administrative duty until the State Bureau of Investigation completes a probe into the incident.

    http://rawstory.com/news/2008/Missouri_Police_t...

Doctors believe 16-year-old Mace Hutchinson broke his back and heel after falling, as his injuries are consistent with such a fall. The boy's family does not understand why police would have tasered the the teen 19 times after he was so seriously injured.

Ozark Police Capt. Thomas Rousset attempted to explain why the taser was used:

"He refused to comply with the officers and so the officers had to deploy their Tasers in order to subdue him. He is making incoherent statements; he's also making statements such as, 'Shoot cops, kill cops,' things like that. So there was cause for concern to the officer.

Guess it didn't matter he had a broken back and foot and couldn't get up, probably had a head injury. So you taser him.

Bush has released on America police and state with no accountability and left citizens with no defense. When you can beat and kill people with no recourse we are not that far from being taken back to the Stone Age. Is there no one in government who will put an end to this.
This Administration's refusal to obey the law, show up when ordered to and to torture and kill at will is where we are at. I am not surprised in the least that the police think they can do whatever they want. It is all about protecting Corporate Interests and keeping us all in line. Next they will be trying mass executions.
  • lynchie · 1 year ago
Go to the bottom of the story on rawstory and see the video of the interview with the police chief. The come upon an obviously hurt individual and then Taser him to keep him safe from traffic.
  • cowboyneok · 1 year ago
Remember, "They hate us for our freedoms."

Won't be long before, during routine traffic stops, people will be begging, "Please don't imprison or kill me!" Thanks Republicans!

America, the long of the free. What a JOKE! We have less rights than almost EVERY nation in Europe thanks to the Nazis Fascist Religious Extremists who try to control everything.

In order to justify any of the nonsense his faltering campaign has been spewing of late (here's cover networks for accusations of a form of neoracism) Senator McCain, quite literally, has to have monkeys fly out of his ass during his next live interview in order to appear at least somewhat truthful...

Jesus, these Rovian tactics are really going to backfire when Karl lands in jail for failure to comply with his legal obligations. Do you think they'll let him have a cell phone as he sits in the basement of the Capital?

"donuts and coffee take us away like Calgon"-AP
  • jiminportlandoregon · 1 year ago
Hey, Goldfarb - you asshole - tell the whole story. Not only is it false, you knew it was false before it was released and you NEVER expected Andrea MItchell (frankly, I didn't expect it, either) to dispute it with first hand eye witness information. Had she not done what she did (defend Obama) I don't think we'd be seeing this acknowledgment from Goldfarb. What a scumbag!
  • Rob Mule · 1 year ago
Add the absurd "press is falling out of love with Obama" meme the corporate press also applied thickly to run as sort of a crazy absolution for complicity in tandom with the failed soldier visit smear...

Pure TVboarding...We're drowning in cable sewage!!!
  • hawkseye · 1 year ago
    Thanks for saying this.
  • hawkseye · 1 year ago
Thanks to Andrea for those few minutes. However, in the next hour on the same day, she joined in with plagiarist Mike Barnicle and smarmy Pat Buchanan in a slime of Obama for probably looking too presidential and/or presumptuous while he was in Europe.
  • jiminportlandoregon · 1 year ago
Thanks for the info, Hawkseye, I wasn't aware of that. However, it certainly does not surprise me. What DOES surprise me, though, is that she actually did the right thing first. Oh, well....another day, another lie.
  • tlsintx · 1 year ago
