AMERICAblog: Michael Savage backed off his threat against Media Matters

  • Hannah · 5 months ago
Be careful around bullies that back down. They go back to their corner, get even more riled up (I suppose mad at themselves for giving in) and come back meaner than before. Trust me. And no, there's no logic involved. Bullies never use reason nor logic.

The best way to push back against these guys is to contact their program's sponsors. A simple email or phone call saying that you accidentally tuned into his program briefly and heard such and such that really, really offended you and then you were shocked to realize that this program is sponsored by the maker of a product that you use.

Tell them you can't in all good conscience continue purchasing a product whose manufacturer sponsors such despicable programing.

a reminder to everyone... if you buy Rockstar energy drinks, you're putting money in this asshole's pocket.

he started Rockstar, and his whole family of bigoted self-important hatemongers draw their income from the company.

Another big-mouth, Hannity, still won't make good on his boast of wiling to be waterboarded for charity, for the troops.....

The right is always going to have this problem with Media Matters: It reports their own actual, documented words. With video and/or audio.

Well Savage who you gonna believe Media Matters or your lying hearing? Savage is a bully. Its just like O'Reilly when he lies and than his own words are used against him. Its hard to defend your own words. I say go Media Matters, go get it done.

Those people go waaaaaaay out of their way to get "public information" including people's home addresses and phone numbers, schedules and whereabouts, their relatives schedules and whereabouts, electric bills, pharmacy records, etc. Lots of veiled threats -- then when their victims push back they try to sue them -- in short, they live by abusing the system. Parasites.

Buddy Hackett did a routine about a duck hunter and a farmer. The hunter shot a duck and it fell on the farmer's land. The hunter goes to retrieve it and the farmer tells him that since it fell on his property, it belongs to the farmer. They argue for awhile and the farmer says "We'll settle this the country way. We'll kick each other in the balls and the last one standing keeps the duck. I'll go first." He kicks the hunter and the hunter rolls around on the ground for a while. Finally he gets up and says, "now it's my turn". The farmer shrugs and says, "It's your duck". http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EcAsXl6TSDo

I feel Savage is like that...he kicks people in the balls and then runs away when it's his turn. He's cheap, cowardly, and a growling sissy.

Standing up to the bully. That describes exactly how America should have dealt with the W. All that bluster and yelling is just a disguise for the cowardly. All mouth, no teeth.

you're forgetting, every time the people started to wake up... w reminded them to be afraid, and that put them back to sleep.

the fear tactics don't work anymore. one of the reasons for mccain's loss... that and offering tired old policy that failed the first 10 times it was tried.

    He's running! Keep him running!

He is the typical "all mouth and bluster" with nothing to back it up. That is why he continues to rally his "mouth-breathing" listeners to do his dirty work for him. Perhaps, his audience is starting to see through his bluster. One can hope they are salvageable.

    Hmmmmm,

and Dems can't stand up against the little bullies and adulterrers of the GOP?

Savage is a nutcase. He just does this to get more attention/publicity for his radio show. He did the same thing with British home office secty a month or two ago. What happened with that? Nada
  • piltdown · 5 months ago
And begged Hillary Clinton to help him get his travel restrictions lifted.
  • unrepentant_expat · 5 months ago
But, look what happened when Media Matters stood up to the bully. He ran away with his tail between his legs.

That's not a metaphor; Savage is Satan.
  • piltdown · 5 months ago
    No, he's not.

Satan is intelligent and well-spoken, and makes a lot of sense, even when he's lying to you.

Savage is far from intelligent, a crappy public speaker, and doesn't make sense in anything he says.

He's not smart enough to be the prince of darkness. He's nothing but a minion of hate.
