Interesting! I WAS responding to a previous post titled "Thanks, but no thanks" regarding the Hillary VP slot story floating today, but it must have disappeared! All I can say to that is that would be like having Barak choose Tom DeLay for a running mate at this point. She has proven nothing except that she is more republican than anyone knew.

Except it was a close race. Obama also needs Hillary supporters to win in November. And Hillary's political stature requires she leaves the race on a positive note.
I doubt Obama would offer her the VP slot, but maybe a cabinet position. HHS maybe? According to reports, Obama has begun reaching out to her campaign staff and had some conversation[s] with Clinton?
Clinton, for her part, needs to cede soon and fully endorse Obama. She also needs to start campaigning for him, to help undo the damage she's done and to rally her troops for Obama. I really hope she does that!
