Moronic and bereft of logic and facts, as usual.

David Geffen. Much as I admire his accomplishments and covet his fame, wealth and boy friends, I can't say I ever visualized him as a policy wonk. This is new.
  • SoLeftImRight · 1 year ago
Exactly. Thanks for playing, David, and thanks for the campaign $$. We'll handle policy from here.

I was just on Hullabaloo. Which was comparing the media's treatment of Bill Clintons first weeks as president with George Bush's first weeks as president. The main difference being the medias pampering of George Bush while Bill Clinton got roasted. Maybe it was because the press didn't like Bill and wanted to have a beer with George. Or it could be that most newspapers and newstations are owned by republicans and reporters are just pushing their boss's agenda. We now have another democrat coming to the whitehouse. And maybe It's just me. But Obama is not Bill Clinton. The stuff that was pulled on the Clintons will not be tolerated by President Obama and his team. If there is one thing I have learned this year is. Do not underestimate Barack Obama. Because he will cut you in a million pieces, and you won't even know you are bleeding untill you fall over dead, and he walks right over you as cool as can be.

    AMEN!

I thought Hillary as SOS was a good idea when I first heard about it.

Now with it dragging on and on and leaks going every which way I'm thinking "Oh Gawd No!"

Just too much drama for me.

I hope Obama appoints Gore to the Supreme Court. That'll get him close enough to strangle those who wronged him!
  • Bush Bites · 1 year ago
I don't think Gore has a law degree.

(Of course, it's also hard to believe Scalia, Alito and Thomas have degrees.)
  • eclare · 1 year ago
Believe it or not you do not actually need a law degree to be appointed to the Supreme Court. All you need is...to be appointed.
  • Lolis · 1 year ago
I don't think this is going to happen. This seems to be floated as some kind of distraction or a power play to help Clinton get more duties in the Senate.

Obama picked Napolitano for Homeland Security. Great choice.

    Well, that's a relief!

Is Joe Lieberman capable of "good will" or any sort of loyalty at all?
  • Mike_G · 1 year ago
People did not vote for Barack Obama because they thought that was the best way to get Colin Powell back into the cabinet, or return Joe Lieberman to his chair. Nobody gives a fuck about Joe Lieberman except the people who will hate him forever. Give him a gold fucking watch or something, a comfy pillow and a 10 volume set of Six Day War footage, and let him pass away in his sleep.

Maybe this can happen for Obama and us, in some magical way, but I could never trust these people
  • davidkc · 1 year ago
Anyone who thinks that Hillary will just do and say whatever Obama tells her to do and say is smoking some pretty strong stuff. It's just a matter of time before she goes off script and embarrasses her boss. And it's just a matter of time before Bill does something he said he wouldn't do regarding all his international financial dealings, and embroils the Obama administration in a scandal. You heard it here first folks.

How does anybody think the idea of HIlary being picked is true at all? Because Andrea Mitchell said so? I doubt it. I'm willing to wait and see who President-elect picks for the cabinet and when he's ready to annouce it HIMSELF, then I'll believe it. Other than that, let's face it, the pundits and newspapers, and anchors need something to report beside the the auto bailout.
