Another day another Republican sex scandal:

"But they did find videotapes of hundreds of sexual encounters with men that Barclay had filmed on high-tech surveillance cameras. The cameras were hidden inside AM/FM radios, motion detectors and intercom speaker systems, among other places. There was also one at his business office."

Where are the hyena-like Wingnut attacks on McCains numerous REAL failings -- divorce, treatment of his current wife, illegal campaign finance, fear of speaking at a forum on faith, etc.

And now we are supposed to believe that a woman over 60, after chugging down a shot of whiskey and drinking a bunch of beers, will be readily answering the national emergency telephone at 3 a.m.

If the Obama campaign was as nasty as Hillary, they'd be running her 3 a.m. phone ad now with clips of her drinking beer and celebrating Saturday night.

"If the Obama campaign was as nasty as Hillary, they'd be running her 3 a.m. phone ad now with clips of her drinking beer and celebrating Saturday night."

And it would end with her cleaning her gun, and drunkenly shooting what she thought was an intruder, Bill coming home late.

That sort of nastiness has no place in Obama's ads. But it is in my head.

You cannot help but be impressed with how Obama always shows his ability to speak so eloquently, and he never gets boring. What a contrast to the present occupant in the WH>

I am glad that Obama is fighting back very hard against these attacks by both of his opponents. He is right when he says that he expected this from McCain, but it is disappointing to hear your own democratic colleague speak so nastily. We all know how desperate she is, and she is making political hay out of this, and she must also be desperate for her husband's brainless reminder of her Bosnian lies, and Mark Penns sneaky connections with the Columbian government to fade out of focus. Obama has shown his ability to fight back, and we can be sure he will do so, when the republican swift boaters raise their ugly voices again.

He's the only candidate with intelligence, integrity and civilized manners. Those are qualities we should be looking for in a president.

Hopefully this speech will get some play in the media today. I like him a lot, but he continues to suffer because the corporate whores don't want him. He can't be bought so they play up the words of his minister or twist everything he says around a single sentence and Hillary and McCain get a pass. McCain has offered nothing but the same programs which haven't worked and the reason is he does not know what to offer. Here is a man who walked out on his family and married a millionairess who offered him the money to seek political office. Here is a man who has accomplished nothing outside of getting elected, no don't tell me of his war hero status. There were 400,000 who served in Vietnam and they are all equal, when called they went a fought. He supports the same kind of war that killed 58,000 Americans and god knows how many Vietnamese. Hillary is offering 4 years of BillCo, money from foreign governments, kickbacks, special interests and is surrounded by the same advisors that her husband used 15 years a go to get elected. We don't need more of the same. Let's try something new because what we are doing now doesn't work.

Well actually the More Hillary brings up what Obama says the more attention it brings to Obama when he responds. I agree that Corporate America is twisting his words. However, if you listen to someone who has lived under Jim Crow laws you quickly realize how in tune the black voter is. While a huge support regiment is not from the Black community with Obama his organization is well established and chock full of people with this kind of valuable education. "Don't trust whitey" isn't just a smug little term, It has a foundation. Those that have perpetuated that glass ceiling have spread it across all races so that it has truly become a CLASS Ceiling. For the record and gravity of my point I am not Black. But I sure am proud of fist full of black Americans And I am Extremely Proud of Obama!

Excellent response from Obama as usual !!!

I'm becoming more and more impressed with him. I'm so disgusted with Hillary it's enough to make me vomit.

I wish there was a way we (normal people) send her a message to GET THE HELL OUT so we can concentrate on McStain.

Glad you posted this. I had seen snippets of it here and there, so it's nice to get the whole thing.

I did not realize that the Iraqi Government was sitting on a budget surplus while we were going into debt supporting them:

Of course people are "bitter", but do people forget that he said it in response to a question asked in California as to why he wasn't going to win in Pa.?Instead of blaming himself, he blamed Pa. blue collar workers by calling them bitter, gun toting bigots.
He's no better than the other candidates.

Blatant lies don't work anymore, alexa.

You really need to go listen to what he said. You just spun Obama's quote so hard that I bet Bill O'Reilly is smilin'.

Obama is one impressive candidate, he is the most "presidential" candidate I have seen in years. Initially I was angry with Clinton's attacks and innuendos concerning him, but now I think it is good experience for him. He has handled these attacks in a dignified and intelligent manner. Clinton's "kitchen sink" has been thrown at him and he has deflected the blows each and every time. Clinton's supporters like to say "she is a fighter" well that is how Bush more or less defined himself and look how that turned out.

Hillary for Lieberman candidate Hillary won't stop until McCombover is prez and Slumlord Joe Lieberman is SecDef

Obama is impressive. And presidential. And even. The people have put him where he is. He will be our next president. Hillary must go straight to hell -- do not pass go, do not collect $200.

    I'm tossing in another $25.

Dammit. I want this over so I can save my bitter ass some money.

    Jim Kuhnhenn, Associated Press writer:
"Obama said that he did describe some voters as bitter when a donor asked why working-class voters in Pennsylvania were not getting behind his campaign."

This is when Obama shines. I love it. As usual he difuses the politics as usual brilliantly. All the pundits talk about how this is a huge gaffe, etc. What a load of crap. People are not buying McCain and Clinton feigning shock and horror.....

I want to see a picture of Hillary in a duck blind.......PHOTOSHOP challange??? Let's get a photo of HIllary imposed in a duck blind w/ Elmer fud....that would be funny.

The best way to handle these things is with humor....totally difuses the issue. Well played Barack!
  • djhwood · 1 year ago
Well I've got one for those blue-collar workers who are supposedly chugging down beers and doing a shot with Hillary.....if you look close at that video of her dong the shot, she doesn't "slam" it like a REAL blue-collar worker does it....no, she sips it like.....................you guessed it..............an ELITIST!!!!! She didn't even drink all of it after the sip!!!
    What a phony!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    He's got my vote.
