Hope he likes dogs and ponies, 'cause that's all he'll see unless he's really insistent, and even then could be fed the usual manure. This kind of trip is usually a waste of fuel and videotape. A teleconference or travelog would be just as instructive.

Watching the BBC will give you as good a picture as you need to know that everything there is f*cked up. I don't need to be in Afghanistan to know that it has all been shit for 30 years and that the Soviets and the US are a large part of the reason for it.
What's he going to find out in a day or two that's different from years of on-the-spot news reports?
My stump speech would be 'I don't have to travel half way round the world to know that people are hurting, we've screwed up their lives, but we can still help. According to the experts (whom I am in constant contact with), here's how...'.

Then how did traitor mccain find out details of the trip? And btw, where are the Clintons? I don't trust them when they can't be seen. What are they up to now? Hillary and Bill hate Obama and they will do anything to undermine his campaign. After all, Obama stole their legacy and they will never forgive or forget.

This seems rather straightforward...But I'm concerned with McCain's public discussion of Senator Obama's weekend, a discussion that seems to have happened before the Obama staff pool report. I'd like to know if the SS modified the Obama IT due to McCain's breach??

Viewing the movie, Sometimes in April, about the Rwanda genocide. I blame the wingnuts for that. I figure they have about 2 million murders of brown people under their belts so it's finally Mission Ongoing. Clinton couldn't act about it because they would have been in total meltdown. It's obvious now that they only give lip service to blaming Clinton about it.

Hello everyone,

As you know I am not a very political person. I just wanted to pass along that Senator Obama came to Bagram Afghanistan for about an hour on his visit to "The War Zone". I wanted to share with you what happened. He got off the plan and got into a bullet proof vehicle, got to the area to meet with the Major General (2 Star) who is the commander here at Bagram. As the Soldiers where lined up to shake his hand he blew them off and didn't say a word as he went into the conference room to meet the General. As he finished, the vehicles took him to the ClamShell (pretty much a big top tent that military personnel can play basketball or work out in with weights) so he could take his publicity pictures playing basketball. He again shunned the opportunity to talk to Soldiers to thank them for their service. So really he was just here to make a showing for the American's back home that he is their candidate for President. I think that if you are going to make an effort to come all the way over here you would thank those that are providing the freedom that they are providing for you. I swear we got more thanks from the NBA Basketball Players or the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders than from one of the Senators, who wants to be the President of the United States . I just don't understand how anyone would want him to be our Commander-and-Chief. It was almost that he was scared to be around those that provide the freedom for him and our great country.
If this is blunt and to the point I am sorry but I wanted you all to know what kind of caliber of person he really is. What you see in the news is all fake.
