WTF?!? okay, I'm PISSED off at that comment... why? let's see, could it be that WE GAVE THEM A BAILOUT THAT WE AS TAXPAYERS ARE PAYING FOR?!?! could it be that I wound up with a $.35 raise last year and NO bonus AND MY COMPANY IS STILL VIABLE FINANCIALLY AND DIDN'T NEED TAXPAYER MONEY TO STAY SOLVENT?!?!
where's my share? seriously, for the last eight years large corporations are getting ASSLOADS of tax cuts and government handouts... offshoring TONS of jobs, and payscale in the USA has STAGNATED!
and now they're defending BONUSES for executives at companies that were GOING UNDER?!?
fuck that, I now think we should recind the multi-billion dollar bailout, and let these wall st assholes sink.
publish their names as well... hopefully then they'd have as hard a time finding their next job as the average American does.

funny though... they show Arizona as 'solidly mccain'... pollster shows Obama down 6 points in Arizona.
they also show him as only being down 2.6 points in Georgia, 3.4 in Montana, and ahead 3.6 points in North Dakota.

Business as usual is Wall Street. C'mon people, do you really think the bail out of the banks is a surprise? Our entire history as a nation is based upon the most fraudulent banking practices ever created. (Read the Federal Reserve Act of 1913) Our "depressed" economy has been manipulated to its current status as a means to keep all of us confused. Mr. Greenspan gave an Oscar performance in the Senate recently and frankly if you felt moved by his words, please contact me I have some investments ideas for you.
If you are tired of seeing your tax dollars go to waste and sick of seeing multinationals control our government, then realize this one thing. YOU CAN CHOOSE TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.... Yes, you always have a choice. One simple thing is have a conversation with a tax adviser (not an HR Block drone) or do the research regarding income taxes. You can google it. You can control the government's use of your tax dollars directly or you can go the path I choose which was to discontinue paying my taxes. It is legal and there are several avenues of civil disobedience actions you can take. Stop crying about what is wrong and start educating yourself on how you can make a difference in your own life as a start. Do your own research, go out and talk to people, remember fact finding? It is fun and the information you uncover just might inspire you or save you.

tb: that is a fact jack. We have had two years of committee meetings, lawyer firing, no bid contract inquiry and on and on and so far we have seen not one of these swinging dicks in an orange jump suit. Meirs, Rove, Gonzalez, Ashcroft they all lied their asses off and all we got was Waxman muttering around his wooden teeth. I am so tired of our politicians representing the richest in the country and screwing the people who vote to put them there. I am tired of them getting the best of healthcare and we continue to have to take less and less. I am tired of the billions pissed away everyday in Iraq and Afghanistan and not a single thing changes. I am tired of falling bridges, piss poor highways, no money for anything in this country and the rich get richer and give bonuses and slap each other on the back. They hold their committee meetings pack up, go to Ruth Chris with their lobbyist du jour, have a couple of martini's a nice steak, grab their paper bag of cash on the way out to their limo and laugh themselves to sleep because we are the dumbest bastards in the universe.
