AMERICAblog: Mrs. McCain may have stolen another recipe

  • michaelt · 1 year ago
ask her how to mix a cocktail, she won't need to plagiarize that.

It's just like Bush said......"fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — you can't get fooled again."

There is a larger fiction here beyond the plagiarism:
We're pretending to believe that Cindy can cook.
Lions and tigers and bears, oh, my!

Wanna bet they'll say it was the same low level staffer?

Helpful Hints from the Kitchen of Cindy McCain:

Instead of chocolate chips in your Toll House Cookies try substituting a handful of tranquilizers -- mmmmmm yummy!

hahahahahaha! that is funny as hell! Vicodin nut chews!
  • dad · 1 year ago
    it doesn't matter to her.

they only cooked up the cookbook to make her look human.

    didn't work.

Indigo is right. Can you see Cindy in the kitchen? That richie rich broad probably doesn't know where the kitchen even is. I doubt she has ever baked cookies, much less created a recipe, which requires many, many do-overs until you get it just right. She has "staff" for such things.

Speaking of food, Eugene Robinson in the WP this morning plants a big wet kiss on Timmah's cold rump but also adds this nugget of cholesterol-laden color:

When the taping [MTP] is done, snacks are brought to the set and the guests linger for a while, chatting

    Snacks of death, huh Gene?
Read Robinson's comments...a good mix of sheep and reality-based.

I think it's her horrible drug addiction that makes her such a liar.

Well, this is what happens when you're too old or too strung out to know how the interwebs work.

Cindy McBush: Wrote the book on dumb blonde moments. Her most egregious theft, however, is stealing from the workers at Hensley Distributing. Maybe that's what lying adulterers do.

It's not all about you, Cindy, you greedy, unethical whore. Streetwalkers have more ethics than you do.

I doubt Mrs. McCain has any recipes at all, and probably she never cooks. When she's asked for a recipe she turns to one of her servants and says "give me a recipe" and they give her one - that *they* got off the internet. She probably can't say "give me a unique recipe that you created and isn't posted on the internet" without raising suspicious.

I now see this idea was already posted - but I'll leave mine as it is since I worked so hard at it :) (and don't want anyone to claim I lifted the post directly off the internet somewhere)

Considering that at least at one time, she apparently didn't consider it wrong to steal drugs -- certainly, at least not enough to prevent her from doing it at the time -- why would someone necessarily think she'd balk at stealing a recipe?? I also have to wonder why someone would believe that an heiress spends a lot of time cooking or even knows how to cook...

"we hate Roe so we have to attack Michelle Obama"-Cindy McCain's bodyguards at No Quarter
  • smiling_dog · 1 year ago
A lot of people are claiming that Cindy McCain stole drugs from her charity. This is not fair and accurate. Cindy McCain has so much frickin' money that she actually created a large charity so that she could skim drugs from it. She continues the charity to make it look good.
  • OlderAndWiser · 1 year ago
Of course she did...but through connections, she made it go away. No jail time, no time for possession of prescription drugs no doctor prescribed for her.

If you're Jane Doe, try getting away with it.
  • jiminportlandoregon · 1 year ago
Do you really think that anyone who would steal drugs to feed their addiction (albeit in the past) would think twice about stealing a recipe? I wonder who they'll blame it on this time. Last stolen recipe was blamed on a low level staffer.

Cruella's cookies will make you ill
  • chandler_in_lasvegas · 1 year ago
As stated before, I don't believe that Cindy knows what an oven looks like when it comes to cookie recipes. Now if she were to write The Trollop's Makeup Guide or the "Your Husband Called You A Cunt Should You Let Him Use The Plane?" book, I would think she actually wrote them.

It just means that the woman cannot cook.
  • houstonray · 1 year ago
Can someone tell me how to vote on that freakin Family Circle website? I get to 4 steps of the 'next' button and then can't find where to vote. Apparently the right wingies are flooding in votes for Cindy's Oatmeal Plagiarized Cookies or whatever the heck they are called, and I want to make sure I vote for Michelles (which actually LOOK good in the picture).

    Leave Mrs. McDruggie alone!

It's not her fault that the cookies she eats have pot in them.
  • kl8n · 1 year ago
What a shocker. Like anyone believes that woman has ever cooked anything herself. When you have that kind of money, you don't bother with common things like housework.
  • Ferry_Fey · 1 year ago
While it is cheesy and sleazy to just run over to Rachel Ray's site and cut and paste a recipe, and while we don't like Cindy McCain, and we don't think she probably cooks much.... the fact is, that lists of ingredients are not copyrightable, and text is only covered if it "is accompanied by substantial literary expression in the form of an explanation or directions."

Explanatory link which I borrowed from the site you linked to:
