  • HereinDC · 1 year ago
Ok, where do I email MSNBC. a good email address.
that is the biggest crock I've heard since....
I'm going got send this sentence to the email address >>>" He's chair of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, for christ sakes"

    LORD!
  • sukabi1 · 1 year ago
"A new poll shows Biden's got the edge" on foreign policy... EDGE?!? Ummm, a 2 - 1 margin isn't an "edge" it shows the reality that most people KNOW that Biden's qualified and Palin ISN"T...
  • tlsintx · 1 year ago
msnbc is still in a tizzy over being so horribly booed at the GOPer convention, poor things.
  • cmccbald · 1 year ago
You refer to "this latest effort by MSNBC's Contessa Brewer..."

Heard something similar from her yesterday. Issue was taxes. She said something like Barack Obama will raise taxes. Then she caught herself and said that he was promising to cut taxes for most Americans. But then she got back on her talking point and said something about raising taxes on capital gains. And then she asked her guest whether it was a good idea to raise taxes at a time like this.

    Did anyone else hear this?
  • aquarius2 · 1 year ago
I heard that yesterday and then just a minute ago she stated the right facts but the way it came out was a negative for Obama.
  • aquarius2 · 1 year ago
Oh and what everybody forgets to say or add when they are talking about Obama's tax plan is that it is really a ROLL BACK to what to the tax levels before Bush put his tax credit plan in place.
  • ron071 · 1 year ago
OUR TAXES HAVE JUST BEEN RAISED BY AN ASTOUNDING AMOUNT!!!!
    BAILOUTS ARE TAX INCREASES!!!!!!
The tax bill will come due every day for the rest of our lives and onto our successors. The Republicans will still be telling us that they favor lower taxes after they have robbed us and generations to come. Let's call it as it is. Republicans are frauds and liars so McSame and Palin are their perfect candidates.
  • PeteLI · 1 year ago
Now that Obama is slightly in the lead in the polls, watch for more distorted reporting like this. The media has a vested interest in keeping it a horse race.
  • gaiilonfong · 1 year ago
Keith Boykin just smacked the reTHUGho Contessa down when she tried to say Obama was lying about McSames immigration policy as it equates with Limpballs...Keith said McSame is flip-flopping so much, we don't know where he stands on immigration
  • tlsintx · 1 year ago
wait a minute...Palin's going to visit foreign leaders at the United Nations? that's how she's going to bolster her foreign policy cred?????? that's a field trip for middle schoolers...

    aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiiiiiiiiieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrgggggggggggghhhhh!
  • Indigo · 1 year ago
    It's okay, she's a PTA mom!
  • tlsintx · 1 year ago
can you even IMAGINE what would be happening to Obama if he were this inexperienced or if he'd picked a running mate this inexperienced?
  • Indigo · 1 year ago
Imagine if he'd picked Biden, for example.  Oh, wait . . .
  • twostepcub · 1 year ago
You took the words from my mouth! So she has a field trip, and she's suddenly qualified!?!?!?!?!?!

and I don't really call 66%-33% difference in polls to be an "edge".
  • aquarius2 · 1 year ago
    OT
If McCain keels over during this campaign who would be the Republican nominee, Palin?
  • gaiilonfong · 1 year ago
the nominee would be Jeb Bush count on it
  • sukabi1 · 1 year ago
Jeb Bush has been involved with Lehman Brothers for the last year or so, as has GHW Bush and another Bush cousin.... I don't think the Repubs really want to go there...
  • Soundboy_jeff_meanie · 1 year ago
my hope is that the repugnican party would just do a big "oh, fuck it!" and not run anyone.

    we NEED Obama.
  • 3O3 · 1 year ago
Poor Contessa...Are you serious?....He doesn't need to prepare anything..Just show up and talk....She is going to get hammered 'respectfully' by Biden....I'm surprised that his % isn't even higher....
  • lpeggy · 1 year ago
MSNBC is unwatchable until Hardball, Countdown and the Rachel Maddow show comes on. Anything other than that is bullcrap.
  • caphillprof · 1 year ago
What's with all these countesses being involved in US politics. We got rid of the king in 1783 and the Constitution forbades any titles of nobility. Scheez.

Corntussa Sewer is surpassed only by CNN's Rick Mancheese for vile dumbness...

Contessa Brewer is just like Phalin, just another pretty face. All looks an nothing else!
  • cowboyneok · 1 year ago
Contessa is a beautiful newsreader. She needs to just STICK to trying to read the teleprompter and stop with any kind of evaluation of the news she is reading. She gets herself in trouble every time she tries to say something intelligent. Someone needs to tell her if she wasn't so damned pretty she wouldn't be reading the news for MSNBC. I've always liked her when she keeps her ridiculous opinions to herself. She tries so hard to be balanced that she ends up just looking like a huge goofball.

Here's Larry Crudlow blaming the government/Congress for the Wall Street crisis because they "pushed these lenders to make low income loans..."
Poor innocent lenders, such easy prey for those sly poor people:

As Larry Wilmore so memorably said on The Daily Show last year, "subprime mortgage borrowers" is the new, respectable code for N&gg@s. Kudlow is blaming the victims, racist that he is.
  • ron071 · 1 year ago
Why would a Republican reject even be on tv? Kudlow has had some very serious problems in the past and clearly he's far from recovered. Why would anyone even watch or listen to Kudlow?
  • blackwolf · 1 year ago
That's what I hate about the talking heads of MSM. Anything to create a so-called newsworthy story.
  • ron071 · 1 year ago
    blackwolf:
Remember that the MSM makes far more $ in a " close " election and $ is what its all about.

I beleive that as the election gets very near Nov., the truth will start to emerge so that they aren't exposed as total frauds.
  • jdkrheum · 1 year ago
Due to their brilliance in having Olbermann & Maddow at night, I always turn to MSNBC first during the day, but I always end up turning it off in disgust, with incidents like this.
  • Sage24 · 1 year ago
Palin is the village idiot from Wasilla, like Dumbya was the village idiot from Crawford.

Now that we know what the the first village idiot did, we can only predict that the second one will be worse.....even says "nookuler", but annoyingly more shriller. First class liar too.

Those 33 percent of morons who think she is qualified, must be having low, low IQ's.
  • KarenMrsLloydRichards · 1 year ago
Contessa's (the name of a frozen seafood brand, BTW) just an "objective" "journalist" "presenting" two equally "vaild" sides to a "debate"!
  • kirkaracha · 1 year ago
The New York Yankees will be playing the Bad News Bears in an exhibition game. Both teams will try to bolster their baseball credentials.

    - Palin Gaining Support From Gays (from Newsmax - the Conservative online rag owned by News Corp - Fox News/Murdoch. They also advertise HERE ON AMERICAblog. Why is that?

the "edge"? 65 to 33? Really?

Wow. So sportscasters have to retool their broadcasts now.

"Yes, USC edged Ohio State 65 to 33."

"And in other sports news, the US won the gold by squeaking by Spain 120-33."

Sometimes you wonder if they even comprehend the things they teleprompter is putting in their mouths.

I really cannot believe this woman is anywhere NEAR the Presidency. This is like a sad joke. I just can't take her seriously. The Europeans must be aghast at what is going on in our country. If we don't show them that we take this election seriously and elect competent well-educated people, we will OWN Bush's failures too. We cannot claim to be victims of his insanity and greed and then let his CLONE run the show for the next 4 years. The Republicans are making this election like American Idol. Her nomination is insulting.
  • ron071 · 1 year ago
jeanruss: FOOLS CANNOT BE INSUlTED. Remember, Bush stole two elections with the help off of many fools who were conned into a close enough contest for the thefts. It is possible that fools can be fooled yet another time. The polls indicate that this is possible. BELIEVE IT OR NOT!

I actually thought that Palin was just going to go to the UN to protest Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. I wasn't aware that she was there to actually participate in the General Assembly in any official way. Wasn't aware that the UN was a place for U.S. political rallies.
  • ron071 · 1 year ago
Brewer's producer had to have directed this totally absurd comparison. If the ability to LIE was a criteria of any type of experience, Palin would get the best rating. Beyond that, Palin is a fraud and McCain has lost it-and I'm not talking about the upcoming election. She lies as she breathes and he has absolutely lost it.

    McSame/Palin=Another disaster in the wings.
