AMERICAblog: Nashville is out of gas, literally

  • Joneses · 1 year ago
    Say it's not true, noooooooooooo.
  • lilyannerose · 1 year ago
If the news gets any worse I'm going to have to deide on a great last bottle of champagne and toast to the coming hard times!

What is happening to the people caught up in Hurricane Ike?

I have friends who have stopped investing in their 401s and IRAs (even those with matches). It's a matter of time.

Could this be a test run by the Neo Cons
to be a trigger for Marshall Law if by some
chance that the Obama lead gets to the point
where they feel they won't be able to swing
    a rigged vote.
McCain is sinking like a stone and the Palin
awakening hasn't even really hit the American
    people yet.
These evil bastards have to much to lose
to not go down without a fight.
A Democratic President, House & Senate
    mean Investigations and Oversight which
in turn means a bunch of these assholes
are going to jail and as you and I both
know these assholes don't go to jail for
    anybody or anything.
A Friday with all the other bad news
cluttering up the airwaves would make
this a perfect time for them to run a miss
information Op and see how the masses
    respond.
These are very dangerous animals who
are starting feel that they are backed up
against the wall and are capable of
    almost anything.
Also look at the two other news stories
at the bottom of the page of the article.
    1) Scary Al Quida boogie man.
    2) North Korea nuke threat.
Get ready, The full force FEAR shit
storm is coming over the horizon.
    TERROR ALERT!!!!
    TERROR ALERT!!!!

I have always said that the NeoCONs will not go down without a fiht.

    Our job?

    Inform, inform, INFORM ... everyone!

Not just our family and and friends, but EVERYONE!
If ever there were a time to do that, it is now.
How anyone would vote for McCrazyCain and Palin is beyond understanding.

BUT we will win IF we do our part and inform, inform, INFORM the non-political ones about a vote for McCrazyCain and CrazyPalin is 100% voting against their interests.

What's the Oct. event? Hell, the month of nine is pretty down. The gas here in Cali has been sorta the same for about a week.

Multifarious avenues of approach vie for attention as potential retorts to Mr. Busboy's amoral pleas. As I elaborate on that concept throughout this post I will use only simple words and language so that even a child can understand my message. Yes, even a child should know that I once tried to explain to Mr. Busboy that his notions will defy the rules of logic. Rather than feel ashamed of himself, Mr. Busboy got angry at me. What this says is that Mr. Busboy attributes the most distorted, bizarre, and ludicrous "meanings" to ordinary personality characteristics. For example, if you're shy, he calls you "fearful and withdrawn". If, instead, you're the outgoing and active type, Mr. Busboy says you're "acting out due to trauma". Why does he say such things? Before you answer, let me point out that if he is going to talk about higher standards then he needs to live by those higher standards.

    Would you please take Mr.Busboy
and go play in your room.

This is what awaits people if they vote for McCrazyCain (Mr. Early Sign of DEMENTIA) and Sarah for High School Sr. Vice President.

Are people that STUPID to want to vote for the people who could care less about them?
  • political_correctness · 1 year ago
Yet, McCain/Bush insist the economy is doing fine.
Things are so well that people can't get or afford the gas
they need to go to work.

How is that going Red Staters? Ya like that repug way of doing business? Hope you get your gasoline some day.
  • stevetalbert · 1 year ago
Now I know why the red states seem to vote against their best interests.. Iwas thinking they had some reason, but now I know they are just stupid.
  • stevetalbert · 1 year ago
I take that comment back,,, you know, they were probably all gassing up for the apocalypse trip. unfortunately, they are supposed to go by air..... maybe I was right in my first comment about being stupid.
  • thomaswoof · 1 year ago
Yo, easy on the Nashvillians... I'm from Ohio, moved down here 14 years ago. Nashville/Davidson County is a reliably blue chunk in a sea of red. So please don't stereotype. I concede, there are mostly idiot red-staters down here, but the Nashville-Murfreesboro area has a lot of Progressives like me, so please don't generalize =). Anyway, yeh, I've seen a lot of people driving around looking for gas. How stupid is that? And a lot of them are SUV's. I mean, duh. It's getting to the point where it looks like there were almost a couple fights about who's in line. Though I admit, if someone tried to cut into a line I was in, I'd go after them. I hate people who think they're better than others and are "entitled."

I live in the Winston Salem - Greensboro - High Point area of North Carolina and for the past two weeks there have been outages of gas in these areas. For a few days last week you could not find gas in the area for less than $5.00 a gallon, if you could find it.
