BREAKING: John McCain now says he wants to 'delay the Presidential debate' because of the economic crisis. I DON'T THINK SO! Can't John McCain do two things at once? This is when its important to show you can handle a crisis and talk about it. Obviously, McCain is scared and doesn't want to be asked about Rick Davis.

John McCain isn't the damned President. He is RUNNING for President. My suggestion would be for Barack Obama to say he will be there. If John McCain is not there, then Barack should get all the network coverage of the debate and do a speech to the American people while John McCain "works" on the crisis he helped cause.

the Bloomberg / LA times poll has McCain sucking the bottom as well... obama's opened up double digit leads in areas such as the economy... and Palin is being a big drag on the numbers... LOL.

Barack Obama just said ALL I need to know. He and McCain spoke about coming up with a joint bipartisan statement. McCain casually mentioned he wanted to delay the debate. Obama didn't commit to it. McCain then went running to the networks to get on the "tee vee" and tell everything the debates were off. McCain is TOTALLY incompetent and is playing politics with this issue. If he truly were to put Country First he would have waited and done a joint statement with Barack Obama. What a HUGE political stunt from McCain! This should DISQUALIFY him in the minds of most voters. I'm outraged. Also, how does this look from outside the U.S.? The U.S. has a crisis and one of the candidates thinks he can singlehandedly just suspend debates and the Presidential campaign? How ELITIST is that?

Two months is not enough time to become familiar with the issues a President needs to be familiar with. You can have all the photo ops and have Gov. Palin memorize the names of all the children of world leaders and that won't make her qualified.
