I can't wait for the debate Friday night! It's gonna be RICH to see how the Republicans decide to play "unguilty" of all this crap.

Why does Rick Davis look like he burrows under topsoil?
Maybe a company with capital could pay him $15K per month to keep a bag on his head...

Over at Fox News, Doocy and Kilmeade this morning argued strenuously that while Rick Davis's COMPANY was on Freddy's payroll, that was not important. It's not as if Davis himself was, personally. And, far far worse is the fact that Obama has TWO advisers, one of whom is BLACK (picture of disgraced black guy), in his campaign that were Fannie and Freddie EXECUTIVES, who actually ran those companies into the ground and walked away with millions that Fox and Friends viewers are having to pick up the tab for now.

    Busted!

With all the money he's making, you'd think Davis could afford a chin implant.

Obama has to beat the old man over the head with this until he shits his depends. Repugs are so infested not even Delay could fumigate these cockroaches (not that he would).

    side note.
Anybody else notice that Rick Davis looks like Jeffrey Dahmer?
  • JohnInTexas · 1 year ago
That's exactly what I said a couple of nights ago when they showed his mug on television. He just has less scruples than JD had.

It's amazing to watch the two candidates side-by-side in a news clip. McSame reads from a script that was written for him, and STILL stumbles over the words. Blinkety blink blink. Barack speaks from the hip, he's knowledgeable and sharp. A true statesman.

How can I get a job like that? It's even better than being paid hundreds of thousands of dollars to attend nightclub openings. And you don't have to dance on tables, expose yourself and go to treatment.

It is sad that despite all these revelations coming out about McPain and his corrupt brigade, there are dolts out there (at least half the country) who just do not care. There is no doubt that McPain and Palin will be the next Bush and Cheney, and McPain is peddling the same failed policies, and using the same corrupt gang, and it seems that mindless Americans, don't care, they still want the same BS. You sometimes wonder if they really want this country to get out of this rut, or if they are too intellectually challenged to fathom this out.

They didn't even show us the courtesy of having tried to hide it by having done it with cash in a paper bag. Who bribes politicians with CHECKS!? This is just plain wrong on oh-so-many levels.

Why do the sources to Newsweek have to be 'anonymous' and the information 'sensitive'? Aren't Fannie and Freddie quasi-public companies?

Why is no one else in the media grilling McCain and his handlers about this the way Campbell Brown at CNN did a couple weeks ago?

Ask them a hundred times until they give a straight answer: Yes or no? Will this guy be part of a McCain administration? Yes or no? Is Phil Gramm being considered for Treasury Secretary?

McCain staff = Part of the PROBLEM

Obama staff = Part of the SOLUTION

Human nature being what it is, in order for deregulation to have any chance of working legitimally, you'd have to prevent unscrupulous/greedy private businesses and individuals from exploiting the lack of defined regulations. There has to be an unmistakeable line drawn between what is and isn't acceptable. When there is no clearcut, enforced regulation AND no enforced consequences for abuse and or failure, ambition, competition and greed will without a doubt create exploitation and failure, which is precisely what has happened in our financial industries. Those Republican idealogues who advocate deregulation without oversight are advocating chaos and disaster. It's like allowing professional football players to play the game without having any rules and making their job security and financial rewards dependent solely on winning or losing. Not only would they end up seriously injuring and or killing one another, they'd completely destroy the integrity of the game. Trusting human beings to do the right thing with no rules and no consequences is like trusting a pack of starving hyneas to peacefully and equally divide their prey. It's contrary to their nature and their survival.

Any truth to the rumors the 15 grand was left in a large sack with a dollar sign on it, behind the Lincoln Memorial? Or did Rick Davis show a modicum of restraint, choosing for a check and not even wearing his black and white striped shirt and sinister mask.
