More about the Yule Goat
I mean... the divorce rate is over 50% in the US.
is that what he means??
Now Tom Cruise... that's a different matter...
see, I'd consider a marriage that is loving and lasts "traditional"... its not supposed to be "until someone sexier comes along" newt.
as for 'activist judges'... they read the California constitution... and decided the suit was valid, the law voted on by the public shouldn't have been allowed.
you sound like you're whining newt... and I don't see how this law affects YOUR life, unless??
does your boyfriend want you do divorce wife #3?
Ancient Egyptian > Hebrew > Christian > Moslem. It's a tidy sequence.
These hypocrits aren't even embarassed. Like Bill Bennett, Mr Gambler and sex addict. Go Bill, Go Bill-=-asshole.
That made me laugh out loud. What a joke. He's just as much a hypocrite as the rest of the party.
I don't mind the annulments because the main grounds for granting annulment is that one or both parties were too immature to enter into a lifelong commitment, and that describes Newtie to this day. What I don't understand is how he was able to have a Catholic wedding when the Church used to deny the sacrament of matrimony to notorious adulterers, which is also an exact description of Newtie.
So now the bishops are giving him the benefit of the doubt, taking his word that this time he means to stay married for life. Why, then, won't they give Kerry, Pelosi, Kennedy et al. the benefit of the doubt as to whether or not their votes on abortion legislation are consciously intended to promote abortion.
I don't mind that he had the first two marriages annulled, because the main reason for granting annulments in the Catholic Church is that one or both spouses were too immature to enter into a marriage for life, and if that doesn't describe Newt, nothing does. What I mind is that the Church once denied the sacrament of matrimony to notorious adulterers, of whom Newtie is definitely one. Obviously that has changed, although I don't know when; maybe it was about the time the Church started giving the last rites to suicides. The Church's teaching on suicide now is that anyone who commits suicide is mentally ill and therefore did not consciously choose to commit a mortal sin.
So the bishops will give Newt the benefit of the doubt as to whether or not THIS time he's married for life. But they won't give Kerry, Pelosi et al. the benefit of the doubt as to whether or not they're deliberately aiding and abetting abortion.
