AMERICAblog: No gas tax gimmickry in Senate Democrat's legislation

It's really rather sad to see some of the names jumping on the gas tax idea. It's one thing to see Hillary supporting it. I sort of expect her to play Republican light. I'm more surprised to see someone like Senator Bernie Sanders going for it. In fact, he's going even more all out than Hillary did.

Hell, if anyone cared about our energy policy they would have done something about it a long time ago like back in the 70's. Now that the chickens have come home to roost it's a little late. Until we can change the mindset of those in Congress to come up with an effective plan to place billions into projects in the advancement of alternative energy, we're screwed. it's just amazing that in the 1930's we could bring together the greatest minds to create a bomb that could kill millions, but when it comes to energy, we don't seem to have the brain power left in our country to solve a pressing issue like this? JMHO, but if the powers to be would get out of the way while letting those inventive Americans get to first base with ideas ( some of the greatest that come out of garages all over the country like Microsoft ) we might get somewhere. You have to wonder why it is that when some guy puttering in his garage comes up with a better mouse trap, that two guy's in black suits seem to show up and the invention never seems to see the light of day. Worse, the inventor disappears. Nothing like free markets and independent thinking.

I refuse to watch the main stream media and their propaganda anymore. Anyone notice they never say anything bad or much of anything at all about McBush. Enough is enough. Time for Hillary to step down because listening to her is like listening to Bush. Hillary = 4 more years of the Bush regime. The lies just keep coming and coming. Her type of politics is long gone. Obama is a breath of fresh air and the media's BS isn't going to touch him. the "TRUTH SHALL BE HIS POWER. YOU GO OBAMA, AND MAY GOD BE WITH YOU!
