AMERICAblog: Not too long ago, Hillary Clinton was quite prepared for the process to end without most states having voted

The cause for concern is that Chicago reporters, among others, have a whole lot of dirt on Obama -- it won't be used until Obama gets the nomination. That's why Hillary Clinton is staying in the race -- she believes that she is less flawed than Obama, and she has a better chance against McCain.

Really? It sure doesn't look that way. From where I sit and type this, it appears that Hillary - and Bill - are in this for their own egos and nothing more.

For a price Id do about anything
    Except pull the trigger
For that Id need a pretty good cause
Then I heard of dr. x
    The man with the cure
    Just watch the television
Yeah, youll see theres something going on

    Got no love for politicians
Or that crazy scene in d.c.
Its just a power mad town
But the time is ripe for changes
    Theres a growing feeling
That taking a chance on a new kind of vision is due

I used to trust the media
To tell me the truth, tell us the truth
But now Ive seen the payoffs
    Everywhere I look
Who do you trust when everyones a crook?

    Revolution calling
    Revolution calling
    Revolution calling you
    [theres a] revolution calling
    Revolution calling
    Gotta make a change
Gotta push, gotta push it on through

Im tired of all this bullshit
They keep selling me on t.v.
    About the communist plan
    And all the shady preachers
    Begging for my cash
Swiss bank accounts while giving their
    Secretaries the slam

    Theyre all in penthouse now
Or playboy magazine, million dollar stories to tell
    I guess warhol wasnt wrong
    Fame fifteen minutes long
Everyones using everybody, making the sale

    I used to think
That only americas way, way was right
But now the holy dollar rules everybodys lives
Gotta make a million doesnt matter who dies

    Revolution calling
    Revolution calling
    Revolution calling you
    [theres a] revolution calling
    Revolution calling
    Gotta make a change
Gotta push, gotta push it on through

I used to trust the media
To tell me the truth, tell us the truth
But now Ive seen the payoffs
    Everywhere I look
Who do you trust when everyones a crook?

    Revolution calling

    Revolution calling you
    [theres a] revolution calling
    Revolution calling

The Justice Department's inspector general is looking into whether Hagen was dismissed after a rumor reached [Monica] Goodling that Hagen is lesbian.
As one Republican source put it, "To some people, that's even worse than being a Democrat."

    ----

Considering that Hillary is hiding her tax records for 7 years, the names of donors to Bill's Library, her role in PardonGate and her earmark requests, I'd say there's a hell of a lot more potential for scandal in Hillary's background.

Clinton...clinton...clinton...c'mon! Stop with the Clinton obsession! Give it a rest already!! The voters will decide who they want. Trust their judgement.

There are criminals in the WH who need to be brought up on war crimes! That's so much more important.

Do you mean that Hillary was for it before she was against it? Well, we must now add "Flip-Flopper" to her long list of negatives.

    When will it end?

    From 'Dreams of My Father',
"I CEASED TO ADVERTISE MY MOTHER'S RACE AT THE AGE OF 12 OR 13, when I began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating myself to whites"

From Dreams of My Father, " I FOUND A SOLACE IN NURSING A PERVASIVE SENSE OF GRIEVANCE AND ANIMOSITY AGAINST MY MOTHER'S RACE".

From 'Dreams of my Father', "The emotion between the races could never be pure..... the THE OTHER RACE (WHITE) WOULD ALWAYS REMAIN JUST THAT: MENACING, ALIEN AND APART"

From Dreams Of My Father, "never emulate white men and brown men whose fates didn't speak to my own. IT WAS INTO MY FATHER'S IMAGE , THE BLACK MAN, THE SON OF AFRICA, THAT I'D PACKED ALL THE ATTRIBUTES I SOUGHT IN MYSELF.

    From Dreams Of My Father:
"THAT HATE HADN'T GONE AWAY," he wrote, BLAMING WHITE PEOPLE,- SOME CRUEL, SOME IGNORANT, sometimes a single face, sometimes just a faceless image of a system claiming power over our lives."

Yes!!! He had some issues to work out as do all of us here. I am gllad
he has the courage to find inner peace about who he is. Self pride is not an easy thing to achieve.

You should take a look at other biracial people of america. Not to meantion
your own adolescence, or were you perfect??

We all have our demons that haunt and hurt us...only the strongest of us
can overcome and embrace our true self...just as we were created.

I used to be a Hillary supporter, but have been sickened by the amoral conduct of the Clintons. I gave them a pass when Bill couldn't keep his pants zipped and took sexual advantage of a young intern. I looked the other way when Hillary excused the adulterous behavior and herself tried to force an outrageous socialized medical program on the country. I was dumbfounded when it was revealed that Hillary had created racist, photo-shopped negative ads against Barack and made racist comments behind his back. I should have seen the signs that the Clintons were corrupt slime back in the 90's. NOW I KNOW!!
  • ObamaMiracle · 1 year ago
Journalist Matthew Drudge has a HUGE headline about the latest Billary scandal. This is sweet. The Clintonista legacy is now one of bigotry, corruption, the ruthless pursuit of power, and racist negative campaigning. Slick Willie and Shillary are finally revealed as the slime we suspected back in the 90's.

Obama is closing the Pennsylvania gap and picking up on endorsements. While Clinton is facing increasing criticism, and her campaign is having financial difficulties. I think this will end within a few weeks. At least I hope so.

    STFU and DROP OUT.

This is something I've been saying for months. I'm from Ohio and until this year I've ALWAYS been "disenfranchised". In fact, for most primaries, everyone but those who go to a combo swap meet/church supper in Iowa or those lucky enough to live in New Hampshire are ALWAYS disenfranchised. Usually, no one gives a whit what Ohio, Florida, Michigan, or Pennsylvania think of the candidates until it's too bloody late and we're stuck with the candidate and then they fall all over each other for our vote.

I don't want to hear anything about disenfranchisement unless they plan to carry on their crusade and get the damn calendar changed.

This woman, Hillary, does not have enough sense to come in out of the rain (i,e., admit her loss) yet she insists she 'd make a good president! We've catered to her for too long. She needs to be kicked to the curb -- like the dog she is.

Yes, thanks for the reminder. It was supposed to be over Super Tuesday!
Now, hey are the only ones who are trying to fuel a Gender & Racial divide and get us to turn on each other. It is despicable! Every day Hillary supporters are speaking out in way which continues to inflame race and gender, divide and conquer -- that is no way to run or win a race!

  • ericgoldman · 1 year ago
I don't recall Hilary ever saying Barack Obama should drop out of the race at any time. I do recall her implying that she expected to have a clear path, if not in fact a mathematical lock, on the nomination after Super Tuesday.

Was she overly confident? Yes. Was she hypocritical? No.

Score another cheap shot for americablog.

I'm a Florida voter, and that's exactly the way I feel-disenfranchised. Wouldn't you? The DNC treats us as if we're their enemy !
  • An_American_Karol · 1 year ago
Good grief, I can't listen to Hillary anymore. She is an embarrassment, a train wreck.
  • Sarah B. · 1 year ago
    Hi, Karol

I know what you mean -- I'm getting to the point where every time I see or hear see the Clintons, all I can think is, "Please make them stop!"

How much more proof does Hillary need to be convinced that the vast majority of Democratic and Independent voters don't want her as the nominee?

Also, judging from the incredibly nasty and incompetent campaign that she and Bill and their thuggish gang of advisers have run thus far -- coupled with the pathological lying about her foreign policy experience -- I wouldn't be surprised if more than a few voters who opted for her in the early races wish they could change their vote right about now and are looking forward to November when they can vote for Obama.

I said this a couple of days ago, but it still holds true -- Hillary is running an exclusive top-down "I, Me, Mine" campaign that turns people off, and Obama is running a down-to-earth inclusive "Our, Us, We" campaign that the public has embraced with enormous enthusiasm.

Like you, I will be so glad to have it over with so that we can focus on winning in November!
    :)

thanks ME for quotes without context.

Oh, and I love the "Obama is racist" white folk, whining about race.

Yes sir, regardless of what you may have read, blacks have been oppressing whites for centuries.

What Obama's preacher said about whites is tantamount to a lynching. It was like putting a noose around the neck of every white person in the US. The poor whites have suffered enough. Oh, the humanity.
  • Gary SF · 1 year ago
Yeah, Hillary, Obama is saying to "stop those elections." And as far as we know he is not a Muslim. If he did go to school in a madrass we don't have any evidence to refute it. He should be allow to proudly wear the clothing of his native country Somalia.

All of this underhanded crap and you still are losing.

And given Bill's recent temper tantrum, it is appropriate for me to say again, someone has tossed a glass of water on the Clintons....and now they are melting.
