    Is there anything they haven't bungled? They've done a pretty good job of looting the treasury and dismantling environmental protections across the board. Let's give credit where credit is due.
    But today is a day of thanksgiving, so let's give thanks that they will soon be gone!

    I think Obama is already trying to dig us out. I have never seen such
    a collapse of leadership as with Bush now. It has crystallized for me
    the absolute inability of the modern Republican syndicate to actually
    lead or govern. They stand for nothing. Conservatism, such as it is
    now, is not a philosophy, but rather a diversion and a mugging.

    They are stealing all they can before the big collapse. That way, they will still be holding what few cards are left when everything crashes and burns. Our government exists for those at the top. The rest of us little people just exist to pay taxes and keep working off their debt.

    That responsibility falls under Laura's job description as FLOTUS. Why leave this important work of thoughtfully reflecting our nation's values to an unelected, random individual? Time to value this work and make it a real job, instead of a hold-over from an outdated King and Queen model.

    What's wrong with the tree? It is a pagan festival of light for the winter... it isn't any modern religion.. that's actually why it is a good symbol to use.
