I think the networks are fucking up their signals so people with antennas will have no choice but accept the cable box. My reception has been getting steadiy worse. And the cable so-called hi-def has a two way signal despite what they say. It's connected directy to your cable.

Feh, who cares. I'm a single guy in my mid-30's who just bought his first apartment and have no intention of getting married. If I'd been married, I wouldn't have had the freedom to just pack up and move to a new state on a whim a few months ago. There are conveniences to not being married that some of us prefer to keep.

Most gays in the closet use language just like this to avoid saying "her, she, lady", anything that would give away that they are interested in females.

What truly straight man would bother to say such a thing, with such urgency, on national TV? Even if he isn't gay (which he probably is), I'm not sure the fundies would vote for a guy who isn't married.

Married and procreating are pretty big requirements for fundie voters.

(If he has a hooker or a male lover on the side, they'll usually give him a pass as long as he pretends to repent if caught.)

McCain will never select Crist because Crist IS gay and waaaay too many people know it. He would very quickly be known as McCain's gay running mate and it would wipe out McCain's chances. Because 90% of all American hets are Homophobes Deluxe. McCain is far more likely to select Florida's insanely homophobic Senator Mel Martinez in a desperate ploy to win Hispanic voters.

I see nothing ballsy in the New York Times' questions. They asked him if he couldn't find a WOMAN anywhere in Florida. That is not asking him if he is gay, kinda sorta or otherwise.

He introduced Giuliani to the Log Cabin Club here in Orlando for a fund-raiser back when Giuliani was a contender. It was some time after that Crist announced in favor of McCain. Nobody tells the story that explains what that was all about but okay. Crist has been a regular visitor to the LCs in O-town, he's a nice guy, looks good in a polo shirt or a suit, fits into the country club set without making a ripple, and has a Chamber of Commerce smile and a golfer's tan to match. We don't hire him to think; we hire him to look the part. He does a great job!

Wow. The rest of the US has discovered what we Floridians have known for several years. Yeah, ol' Charlie is "passing." During the election for governor, Charlie was asked whether he is er - light in the loafers. He replied "nope, I love women." The stupid FL press was too dumb or didn't dare ask our well-tanned and coiffed gov the next logical question - "Charlie, are you bi-sexual, or have you ever had sex with a man? It seems the NYT has no hair on its journalisitc balls, either.
