Sure , because there is no single payer and a worthless public option. Must support corporate masters.

"...the SAP clears the way for Obama"
Isn't that redundant again?

LOL!
that does NOT mean he doesn't support triggers for the senate version, or that he won't be working to drop the P.O. once the bills go to conference. so sorry obama apologists, we see right through you.

I just called My Congress person and told them I hope they vote yes on the health care bill. MoveOn.org has the info.

I don't see why they refuse to let insurance companies work across state lines. They also aren't willing to take on the trial lawyers and tort reform. Both of those things would help get the blue dogs on board and get this passed.

That would allow the insurance companies to basically move their mail box to one state and avoid state regulations. Thats why. Also as far tort reform, we have juries for a reason. I mean I'm not the greatest traditionalist, but if you don't trust the jurors, maybe you need to rethink your views on democracy.
A better solution is better care would result in less lawsuits. Junk lawsuits are thrown out anyway because they are precisely that. Right now, the only people keeping health insurance companies from completely raping this country is trial lawyers.

The so-called public option has been watered down so much and will be available to so few that tens of millions of people who cannot afford overpriced for-profit health insurance now will be forced lower their standards of living even further to buy for-profit insurance at extortion level rates, under heavy penalty of taxation if they don't.
So we get a robust mandate, and an ineffective public-option in name only. This is the exact opposite of candidate Obama's health care platform, which was a public option with no mandate.
But as he betrayed us with the DOMA brief and went back on so many other promises, why should any of us be surprised that he endorsed this trillions of dollars of corporate welfare?
Of course, congress is corrupt from top to bottom by these corporate campaign contributions.
What we need is single payer. What we're ending up with is downright immoral.

If you work for a company with a Flexible Spending Account health benefits plan (i.e. "cafeteria plan") there will now be a massive increase in taxes on your plan.
For example, if you currently get $10,000 a year from your company for family coverage, it's 100% tax-free.
Under the House and Senate health care bills, only the first $2,500 is tax-free. Rest is taxable.
See section 325, page 532.

Over the weekend, Present Obama sprinted to be at the head of the queue as the health care reform bill crossed the finish tape in the House of Representatives.
Arriving just after the bill passed, Present Obama spoke briefly saying how glad he was that he had been able to lead the nation to such a historic moment.
Shortly afterward, Present Obama was overheard on his cellphone asking "I dunno, where do you wanna eat?"
Isn't that redundant again?
