Great to see Plouffe draw attention to McCain's (racist) contempt for Obama.

Obama won because he answered the question that was asked and did so without derision and disdain for his opponent. He conducted himself in a very presidential manner and was not the least bit sarcastic. He successfully ignored McCain for the most part, responding only when to not do so would be detrimental. I think McCain is following some very perilous advice from his campaign managers; being nasty, sarcastic and caustic and not addressing the question he has been asked. Let Palin recite her talking points spontaneously and get the ignorant folks in her crowds chanting in a frenzy; because that's what she seems to do best - that, and embellish her record on everything since about the second grade. McCain should be more serious and professional about running the free world.
