Costs a lot of money to beat the corporatists. I'm going to give $100 each month until November. It's funny, I'm giving my entire (Bush-inspired) stimulus check to beat The Republithugs. Feels good.

And unlike the GOP, he didn't have to sell his soul to do it.

Guess we can thank the strong-arming Weinsteins (and the other sycophantic Hellbots that signed the extortion letter to Nancy) who have closed their checkbooks in the face of the proletariat telling them their nominee is a *GASP!!!* black man.
Tell us again how Hillary was such a transformative candidate? Oh, I know: her stupid self-involved shenanigans have provided downticket Dems with an enormous $$$ disadvantage. So now Obama has to make up $$$ ground that should have never been ceded, but since our Reichclass is populated by sniveling jerkoffs...
Way to go assholes!

Good! I was waiting to hear the numbers, and, I'm going to bump up the "weekly" donations.

The Obama campaign sent out an update. The campaign itself has $72 million COH. Adding the DNC totals, makes it $92 million, only $3 million behind the GOP.

Good to hear. If he keeps his numbers up like that until after convention at least he can quite most of the people who said that him not taking public financing was a bad decision. Personally, I like the idea that Obama can legitimately claim that he got elected without having the taxpayers or lobbyists paying for it.
Time to go donate. At this point I don't think I even donate to help his campaign as much as to simply feel like I'm making the money-propoganda war even more lopsidedly in Obamas favor. Every month he has a good money haul is lots of free PR and contributes to the feeling of "momentum". The logical part of my brain knows its just spin, but considering how easily duped most of the population is, it's spin that's gonna get Obama elected.
