MSNBC is buzzing about Scott McClellen's forthcoming book.
Scotty must be a dunce, not to know that what was really happening in the WH.
We all knew were were being taken for a ride. It is strange that he makes
excuses for Bush, but implicates Libby and Cheney.

Well, now that we have someone from the Bush administration telling the truth, would it make those Bush supporters and Rethugs open their brains and admit they were wrong? No, I guess not.

    From Ronald Reagan:

If you analyze it I believe the very heart and soul of conservatism is libertarianism. ... The basis of conservatism is a desire for less government interference or less centralized authority or more individual freedom and this is a pretty general description also of what libertarianism is.

    To Rick Santorum:

One of the criticisms I make is to what I refer to as more of a libertarianish right. ... This whole idea of personal autonomy, well I don’t think most conservatives hold that point of view. Some do. They have this idea that people should be left alone, be able to do whatever they want to do, government should keep our taxes down and keep our regulations low, that we shouldn’t get involved in the bedroom, we shouldn’t get involved in cultural issues. You know, people should do whatever they want. Well, that is not how traditional conservatives view the world and I think most conservatives understand that individuals can’t go it alone. That there is no such society that I am aware of, where we’ve had radical individualism and that it succeeds as a culture.

Whereas McCain thinks that Obama is naive to think he can negotiate with those countries which are at odds with America, I believe it is naive for Obama to say that he do business with the Republicans. If he reaches across the aisle, it should be to slap handcuffs on these traitors and to see that they are duly prosecuted for their crimes.

How much pandering-soft shoe-tappy dance do you think McSame is doing tonight? I just bet that Bush is making McSame perform much like a puppet with strings attached. Just think, a sadist and a masochist, on stage, performing for money.
Somewhere the D.C. Madam is spinning in her grave.

As Rachel Maddow pointed out, it costs $86,000 to attend the fundraiser (those kind of people don't get photographed giving money away unless it's to a charity). And the money goes to the Republican Party. They're skirting campaign finance laws.

Here is the question McCain needs to answer. If you are elected to the office of the president of the United States and you find out that your predecessor Bush or anybody in his administration has committed crimes will you punish them within the full extent of the law or will you, John McCain give them a pardon?

Since McCain is using Bush money to get elected.

Among the most explosive revelations in the 341-page book, titled “What Happened: Inside the Bush White House and Washington’s Culture of Deception” (Public Affairs, $27.95):

    • McClellan charges that Bush relied on “propaganda” to sell the war.

    • He says the White House press corps was too easy on the administration during the run-up to the war.
