AMERICAblog: Obama: Palin lied

  • FunMe · 1 year ago
Are Americans that stupid to fall for the republiCON lies? Again?

Obama should be hammering, day in and day out, and in SIMPLE and short sound bites, the fact that Sarah supported Bridge to NoWhere.

Obama has to continue with his message "THEY MUST THINK YOU'RE STUPID"
  • johnt66 · 1 year ago
FunMe you are so right, everytime McCain and Palin are caught in a lie, stop calling it a flip flop, it's a lie and then ask THEY MUST THINK YOU ARE STUPID, SAY IT EVERYTIME.

Good for Obama and the campaign - Americans don't do nuance and care little for details - Call the other side the liars that they are and keep reapting over and over again ...Have the other side do the long explantions .....
  • BusyTimmy · 1 year ago
I was hoping for the phrase, "Sarah Palin is a liar." Or maybe, "Sarah Palin is lying." Oh well, I'll have to settle for the "Obama camp calls Palin ad campaign a lie." Baby steps, but I don't know why.
  • shrrrr · 1 year ago
That's nice. The campaign made a comment.

Where's a national tv ad calling her a liar?
  • iWoman · 1 year ago
And how many average Americans read these statements? They need to put out an AD!! about her lies. And that she KEPT the money.
  • dad · 1 year ago
    she is a liar.
hope America realizes it before its too late.
  • scottinsf · 1 year ago
FunMe-- I think the answer to your question is yes.

    Good one, I like it

Palin also got it wrong about Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae bailout. In fact, it just shows how unready for prime time she is:

We need to remember to keep it simple. I think the lie she keeps repeating that might get the most traction with the intellectually limited undecideds is the Executive Jet she claims she sold on E-Bay. She didn't sell it on E-Bay and sold it to a campaign suppporter at a loss!
  • JohnInTexas · 1 year ago
Well actually today she just said she "put it on E-Bay"...she didn't mention the actual sale this time.
  • cowboyneok · 1 year ago
That is totally lying by omission and she needs to be called on it. The inference is she sold it on E-bay for a profit and she didn't.

Sarah Pitbull Palin needs a pinch collar and a muzzle to go with her knockoff designer eyewear and the holy roller hairdo.

I wasn't worried unti I saw Obama with George Stepanopolous Sunday morning and I had to expalin his answers to my wife.

If we have to explain the answer- we lost

The surge answer: Short sound bite

Well, with 20/20 hindsight to get it only half-right, I wouldn’t call that good judgment.

In the beginning when general Gen. Shinseki, called for significantly more troops Senator McCain was silent. In fact, he was in lockstep with George Bush. And that judgment was wrong. ONLY AFTER things were going terribly wrong did he start to call for more troops. After the fact. Even then he failed to put pressure on the Iraqis with a timeline, which is now being openly discussed.

The republicans have limited the discussion to the last two years, from Sarah as governor to the surge. Obama needs to open the discussion from day 1 of the Bush administration, not the last 2 years.

So, I know about this and many more lies.
You know about these and many more lies.
Why isn't the campange making these lies known to the American voters that are going to be electing the next president?
  • OneManComotion · 1 year ago
How about this private jet fiasco? That jet was sold to a campaign donor for less than market value. As we all know, jets are in very high demand due to back logs of orders at Gulfstream, Lear...etc. Are these people hiding everything?
  • aquarius2 · 1 year ago
Not even a blip in the news. So how far do you think McCain/Palin are going to get WITHOUT the media calling them on their lies.

Hey, we got into a war with Republicans lying their asses off. How refreshing it would be for the press to really go after the lies.

Ap is so biased it is unimaginable. Here are a few lines from an ap story on Yahoo titled "McCain, Palin criticize Obama on earmarks "
    Notice the second sentence.

    http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080908/ap_on_el_pr...

"Palin has cut back on pork project requests, but under her administration, Alaska is still and by far the largest per-capita consumer of federal pet-project spending.

The governor did reject plans to build the notorious "Bridge to Nowhere" after Congress had cut off its financing."
