If Obama broke FEC laws, he would be arrested on the spot under this regime. Why is the Democratic party not demanding the FEC take action? Is the FEC off the table too? The Democrats are McSame too, when it comes to enforcing US laws and the Constitution against the GOP.

Can Hillary count the bills that she has skipped out on as contributions?

Only 12 days to tax deadline. Keep the day free.....
  • Sage24 · 1 year ago
I guess the fact that Obama is getting much more in donations is an indication that more people are supporting his campaign. Rumors that Hillary's badly run campaign being in financial difficulties, might be true.

The Clintons have shown a rather vindictive side to them, where Bill Richardson is concerned. Instead of taking the high road, and accepting his decision with a little class, they have decided to attack and humiliate him with apparent anger. Bill wagging his lying finger, and Hillary's goons calling him unnecessary names, shows that they are indeed desperate.

Gosh, those Clintons sure cannot take a rejection now, can they?

Obama raised $40 million in March, while the Clintons together earned $50 million in 2007. Now that's stunning.

    Notes:

Again, why are the MSM giving Insane McCain a pass on his most recent LAWBREAKING to say nothing of his seedy and questionable past? Is getting a ride in the "bus" that rewarding? Is Insane McCain providing lobbyists for all those who want them along with free booze? Come on, its a "bus" not a deluxe motorcoach.
Yes, the Clinton campaign is getting a really bad rep for not paying their suppliers but do please note the "advisors" are not having to go scratch for their unconscionably overpriced advice!
Note to Mrs. W.J. Clinton: Get rid of Howard Wolfson NOW, if not yesterday, his advice is BAD and he is a financial albatross around the neck opf the campaign; Ickes too as he's off doing your dirty work lying to superdelagates!

and yes Hil we are all still waiting for those tax returns.

For those who are still waiting for Hillary's mysterious tax returns.
Here is a review from ABC news.

It seems those Clintons have become prosperous after Big Bill left the WH.

"the Clinton campaign will not be releasing its March fundraising total until the filing deadline, which is the 20th of the month. That's not a good sign for Team Clinton. What are they trying to hide?"

It's all about the money. The corrupt Clinton campaign literally worships the dollar. She can't bring in enough to play with the big boys. I wonder if she'll resort to Chinese slush fund backers like Slick Willie did?

In reply to Mikki, the MSM treats McCain with kid gloves and gives him a pass for two reasons...

A-Corporate America, including those who control the media do not want to have to answer to a well educated, articulate black man who gives hope to the have nots and threatens the status quo in Washington DC.

B-They are afraid grandpa John, with his legendary short fuse, may snap and go ape shit on them if they are too hard on him.

Gallup: When Americans are asked which of the leading candidates left in the race for president they least want to see elected president this year, 40% name John McCain, 36% Hillary Clinton, and 20% Barack Obama.

"40% name John McCain, 36% Hillary Clinton"

I would only quibble with the accuracy of that. Hillary has far higher negatives than either McCain or Obama. If you look closer at the data it will confirm that. The way the poll was presented somewhat softened the reality of Clinton's huge negatives. She is literally seen as a wicked witch by most.
  • lynchie · 1 year ago
a talking head the other night said that the Dems may spend $1 Billion to get the nomination to be President. Tell me that all those donations come with no strings attached. The process now begs to be corrupt. I look at my pay check every two weeks and sometimes imagine an extra zero on the end. You know $5,500 instead of $550. When you write out $1 Billion the mind boggles. We are a year into this charade and we still have 4 or 5 months left. Instead of an election why don't we just have year round non stop campaigning.
I want a National Referendum on getting out of Iraq. All those in favor of staying will be identified and their taxes raised accordingly to pay for it. Those who want a pull out get a pass. I think that is fair, democratic and we will see how much the chickenhawks like paying for the war cause they sure as hell don't go fight in it.

Question: If the FED can continue to lower the interest rates it charges to the financial institutions when they borrow money why can't the government force banks and credit card companies to lower the interest rates they charge we the people for their services? Oh thats right, this would actually help the American people and we can't be having none of that.
  • Sage24 · 1 year ago
How amusing! The threatening letter that Hillary's backers wrote to Nancy Pelosi about the superdelegates seems to have backfired.

Donations to the DCCC seems to have spiked after that, many including
Obama supporters have offered to help.

When will Hillary stop these republican like tactics?
    I guess never.

Correction Tom3, the demise of America began in 1913 when the FED was created by such names as JP Morgan, Warburg, Rothschild, Rockefeller. This effort has slowly been continued over the decades, Bush has just put our demise on the fast track.

Nathaniel Rothschild of the evil and infamous Rothschild family who have bankrolled every war since the 18th centur. The Rothschilds made their fortune this way and continue to manipulate and control governments around the world with other elitist bankers.

I continue to hope that someone in her circle of advisors is in a position to tell her unpleasant truths. For her own reputation and her political future, she would be wise to figure out a way to bow out gracefully.
  • Bobby_Sambang · 1 year ago
Without the party apparatus, Hillary is nothing. She has zero political talent, and is a dud with audiences. She's just another run-of-the-mill aggressive with no grace, no luck, and no skill. Without the clothes of the Party, without the Structure, she is naked.

Hillary Clinton has no inner resources to fall back on. She is a hollow shell, and nothing more.

And I still cannot figure out how the heck people didn't see this.
  • bowseat93 · 1 year ago
Any chance that Clinton could be waiting 'til the filing deadline because of its proximity to the PA primary? Maybe the number is actually good and it will give her some cred when she may need it.

Of course, allowing people to speculate for two-plus weeks that it's actually the reverse would probably not be the best strategy right now.
  • jmcdonough120 · 1 year ago
    from swimming freestyle:

"The stated Clinton campaign strategy, despite her second place position in each metric (states won, pledged delegates and popular vote), is to convince superdelegates she is the best choice for the Democratic Party nominee. It's a measure of Clinton power and prestige that some actually bought into that line of crap.

The, presumably disappointing, March fundraising numbers are just more signs the Clinton campaign is now limping towards the end of their race.

I guess most Black Americans are doing better than most of us white folk, since they can donate $40m. right???????? I guess that means they
won't need many programs to help them, if Barack is the next president???
Maybe he can help us white folks the most!!!!
Us white folks are catching up though. Hillary has raised 20M in March....
Hoorah, Hillary!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe SHE will be the next president!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"First, any discussion about campaign finance spending must start with a reminder that the GOP nominee is not only being vastly outraised, John McCain is breaking the campaign finance laws " Oh well Senator Mac remember that road to Hell is paved. You paved it Senator.

We have three people running for President who have absolutely do not feel Americans are adults who can take care of themselves. The way so many of us vote for these nanny stators perhaps they are right. 2008 is not going to be a good year for honest people.

I think I'll go back to drinking.
