    Dear Friend:

Are you ready yet for the November 4th Elections? How about your friends, family, and neighbors?
More Americans are expected to vote this year than ever before in history, so don’t be left out! Be sure to ask everyone you know the following questions:
    • Are you registered to vote? If you moved recently, have you updated your voter registration?
    • Did you apply for an Absentee Ballot? Do you know your state may not require any reason?
    • Can you find your local Polling Place? Do you know it may have changed from last time?
The answers to these questions -- and all your voting needs -- can be found at www.StateDemocracy.org

It's time for Obama to take it - "medieval" as Bill Maher put it - on John McCain's ass. If the vote is close, I don't even know what I'm going to think about humanity at this point.

It is so difficult to conceive that the vote is as close as it is, isn't it?

A few more "corrections" like this one and we'll all be living in cardboard boxes.

I've always thought "trickle-down" was such an offensive concept, I'm surprised it was even used. Think about it. All resources are thrown to those at the top. What they don't want or need or use "trickles down" to the rest of the population. In other words - the scraps - and that's if anything at all is left over. I like the idea of tying CEO pay to that of the lowest paid employee (25 times for example). That was a concept pushed by former MN Rep. Martin Olav Sabo. That would mean that the lowest paid employees aren't constantly in a free fall. The income generated determines how much everyone is paid and all are interconnected.
