I'm going into a severe funk right now because I know what's coming. Just like JFK. There is no way they will ever allow the people hope. OK, I wont [say] anymore because that's sorta the same thing. Just be ready to respond if they do.
  • Õ¿Õ · 1 year ago
The GOP is a total crime syndication with some elements on the DNC. Just prepare your thinking, how your response will be if they try anything, and they probably will.
  • Õ¿Õ · 1 year ago
Uh, I shall change that, thank ya very much: They most assuredly will...

I can see him in a plane over the ocean and mundane. That's what they plan. Something, blah, and that's just it.

I'm going to nap for awhile while dreaming about it and hopefully come up with something more...

    dreaming = REM state.

    Let's see...

What exactly is glasses-guy saying? What " response " if they do is he referring to? Why not say what you mean so that your thoughts can be communicated rather than a wink & a nod?

Makes me wonder if there's another golf cart there with "Property of #43. How does this thing work?" in the window.

I think it's a blast . . . . McCain blabs about Obama 's lack of foreign policy and experience . . . Obama accepts his challange and creates a worldwind of great publicity. Love it!

One McCain misstatement begets the next. It's not one but many McCain misstatements which indicate that he is clearly unfit for the office of president. Just imagine his clarity of thinking as the potential first term goes ahead. Do most Republicans realize that their nominee is unfit? How could they not? They are heading for a crash if they don't change the driver before the convention. Any pretext will suffice.

Asked on ABC's "Good Morning America" about the situation in Afghanistan -- where both presidential candidates call for sending more US troops to take on the resurgent Taliban and root out al Qaeda, McCain replied.

"I think it's serious. . . . It's a serious situation, but there's a lot of things we need to do. We have a lot of work to do and I'm afraid it's a very hard struggle, particularly given the situation on the Iraq/Pakistan border."

Iraq and Pakistan do not share a border; it is the Afghanistan/Pakistan border where intelligence officials believe remnants of al Qaeda are rebuilding.

(CNN) – For the second time in two days, John McCain has referred to current events in “Czechoslovakia” – a country that officially ceased to exist in January of 1993.

“And I regret some of the recent behavior Russia that has exhibited, and I’ll be glad to talk about that later on including reduction in oil supplies to Czechoslovakia after they agreed with us on a missile defense system, etcetera,” said the presumptive Republican nominee at a New Mexico town hall Tuesday.

More than fifteen years ago, Czechoslovakia officially split into two nations – the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

On Monday, the Arizona senator made virtually the same statement about recent Russian moves that troubled him, citing that country’s attempt to reduce “the energy supplies to Czechoslovakia.”

Later that evening, McCain’s campaign sent reporters a statement on the issue, which quoted the Arizona senator calling the nation “the Czech Republic” twice.

John McCain misspoke and confused his African countries while talking to reporters on the Straight Talk Express today. This time, he was bailed out not by Joe Lieberman, but by his close aide Mark Salter. “How can we bring pressure on the government of Somalia?” McCain asked, which prompted Mark Salter to correct him. “Sudan,” Salter said. “Sudan,” McCain repeated. “There’s a realpolitik side of my view of the conduct of American foreign policy.”

The Washington Post: "Sen. John McCain, traveling in the Middle East to promote his foreign policy expertise, misidentified in remarks Tuesday which broad category of Iraqi extremists are allegedly receiving support from Iran. He said several times that Iran, a predominately Shiite country, was supplying the mostly Sunni militant group, al-Qaeda. In fact, officials have said they believe Iran is helping Shiite extremists in Iraq."

More: "Pressed to elaborate, McCain said it was 'common knowledge and has been reported in the media that al-Qaeda is going back into Iran and receiving training and are coming back into Iraq from Iran, that's well known. And it's unfortunate.' A few moments later, Sen. Joseph Lieberman, standing just behind McCain, stepped forward and whispered in the presidential candidate's ear. McCain then said: 'I'm sorry, the Iranians are training extremists, not al-Qaeda.'"

McCain my suggestion to you is KEEP YOUR TRAP SHUT. You goated Obama into going and he showed you up. He looks presidential and you don't.

Obama is a jerk. He simply isn't capable of being commander in chief. Funny that the media has blown this trip up, and made it a big deal. Appears that the media is driving all the b.s., but they will fail, miserably. The truth will prevail. Obama is the WRONG person to run the country. He sucks.

Well, so far Mr. Obama has the leaders of Iraq, Afghanistan and England agreeing with him on foreign policy.

You must be one of those Americans who make more than $250,000 a year?
Because for Americans who make less than that, Mr. Obama is the best choice on taxes and domestic policy.

The truth will prevail that Mr. Obama is the right leader for 21st century America.

Hey, McStupid -- haven't you ever been told to be careful what you wish for? You asked for Obama to go to Iraq to see things for himself. It's not his fault that he caught on faster than you, after the six or seven trips you've taken there. D.

Our ace in the hole is that the repugs have underestimated senator Obama over and over again. They continue to underestimate him when it comes to the debates saying...."wait untill he is off of a teleprompter"....blah blah blah. Obama will evicerate McCain in a debate, and the more they continue to underestimate Obama, the more he will surprise them.

I had no doubt that Obama would do as well as he has overseas. None of this is a surprise to me.

Face it - Obama's younger, smarter, has broader understanding, compassion, came up the hard way, and looks terrific even in sunglasses! He's not shallow, or superficial, has a smart happy wife who's not on drugs and can speak her mind. He's everything the under 40's have been waiting for, and since they're about to take over leadership, they want a leader who stands for them. Look at those picture of him with the troops - he looks just like them! No wonder they went ga-ga. What's wrong with hope? It's what motivates people to act in responsible ways, recognizing that you may be able to have some control over your life - instead of being a non-entity pawn for the elite. He may have some flaws, who doesn't? But he admits them and sets about correcting -there's no arrogance there - but the ability to learn -fast! And that's what makes McCain so bitter -Face it - Obama just a smarter guy with better people around and a much better manager. McCain's toast!
