Obama admin's OPM, headed by a gay man, reportedly blocks lesbian from getting health benefits
The first one he could control, the picking of Sarah Palin which shows incredible bad judgment. Had he picked someone with more knowledge and experience, he may have survived the the second thing.
The second one he had no control over, the failure of Wall Street. Oh he helped by being Bush's lap dog but he couldn't control it.
Whew! We won't have to listen to her for at least a day....AK has just less than 2 weeks to indict her...will that be the Oct. surprise?
AP INVESTIGATION: Alaska funded Palin kids' travel

And her deposition, as well as Todd's, will not be in AK, but somewhere in the lower 48.
Anyone know how the polls read for Gore and Kerry two (2) weeks before the election?

I feel no pity for him.
He knows.......
My apologies to all for my kids' vote.
That's what really scares me. My daughter is not stupid. Granted, her Dad
always kept a photo of Reagan on the fridge and that caused some serious
stress in the marriage. After Reagan, the photo was replaced with 41 in his
bomber jacket. But, the kids were brought up in a progressive atmosphere. To
hear that she voted for McCain is a total rebuke, to me, on how she was
brought up and the values that I instilled in her. I had to cut the call
short because I was reduced to tears. Perhaps I'll feel better in two
weeks...

'To put them in perspective, I think of being on an airplane. The flight attendant comes down the aisle with her food cart and, eventually, parks it beside my seat. “Can I interest you in the chicken?” she asks. “Or would you prefer the platter of shit with bits of broken glass in it?”
To be undecided in this election is to pause for a moment and then ask how the chicken is cooked.'
There is stupid and then there is totally stupid. She can hide her ignorance behind her good looks and convoluted answers but my god, an inability to learn? Surely someone has told her by now what the vp does.

ANCHORAGE, Alaska – Gov. Sarah Palin charged the state for her children to travel with her, including to events where they were not invited, and later amended expense reports to specify that they were on official business.
The charges included costs for hotel and commercial flights for three daughters to join Palin to watch their father in a snowmobile race, and a trip to New York, where the governor attended a five-hour conference and stayed with 17-year-old Bristol for five days and four nights in a luxury hotel.
Why is the Republicans all seem to think the taxpayer should provide them will any perk, any rip off the want. Talk about shitting on socialism and then stealing from the state and the taxpayers.
There is not one ounce of shame with these people.
And I'm only partially kidding.
I would take these big gains with a grain of salt. NBC's polls have never been super accurate.
Rasmussen has Obama up 50 to McCain's 46, and with a lock on 260 electoral votes (264 if you count NH). They have VA (13) and CO (9) leaning to Obama, while FL, MO, NC, NV and OH as tossups. Of all of those states, I think that NC may be the best bet. I don't trust Ohio (too many conservatives around Cincinnati) and less said the better for Florida. Zogby has McCain gaining in Nevada, but both Zogby and Rasmussen have MO even with a slight tilt to Obama. So, the numbers are still working to Obama's favor. I'll settle for 273 electoral votes and 50.0001% of the popular vote, because it means a win.
Frankly, I'd rather trust the more conservative polls than pop the champagne after reading NBC's polls. If, for some reason, November 5 shows a McCain win, at least I won't go into a full blown meltdown like some Democrats may.
The nasty stuff is not working and they just keep going. Morning Joe spent all 3 hours today trying their best to take down Obama by using the remarks by Biden against him and twisting it to sound awful. I wouldn't be surprised if this drives their ratings down and sticks to mccain as well.
